OP visitors have some mining rigs that are 144 times more powerful than a rx580.

And this is the average user. Imagine those that pull up the numbers...

Please take in mind, that script mining GTH, not ETH or other coin.Their mainnet just launched, so complexity of calculating one block is not so high as BTC, and because of that it's real to mine coins equal to amount of money you mentioned. They pays me in GTH so if the price would fall, i would receive much less, or more in opposite.

As I said. If the payment is real, it raises questions about the project.

If you look at masternodes for example, as it is easiest to see, you have enormous gains in the first few days or weeks. And in a few months, most of those coins are dead (scams, bad project, bad team, etc). In the few cases where the project has some use or credibility they survive, but the income gets a lot lower.

In the best case scenario, the project has good intentions. But, as it has a huge inflation of the price and the difficulty to mine really low, this set-up, will harm the price.
Looking at the chart it is not a coin that I would touch as it looks today.

You underestimate the power of cryptocurrency. There were tons of projects with way even higher gains, e.g. mining nodes (in 2020, not to mention 2010+), where you could receive similar numbers to OP, however, without website, but only own computer or vps nodes. 144x rate is nothing, if we compare this to 2013, 2017, 2021 of altcoin bullruns.

btw. 1/144 of the CPM rate is still good, like $3.5 per 1k sessions
 
@Luke22 can you invite someone from the gather team to clear things up here?

For example - explain the financial part and technical as well?

As I checked again and I still can't find any proof of real work done with that javascript stuff.

Ok, so i asked a company representative to publish official statement here with some clarification. Unfortunately his post was denied due to forum violation.

P.S: 75$ fee was before mainnet, so now it's free for registration. I did not know that.

Do you have any experience mining Crypto using VPS nodes? (I thought dat was done like 7 years ago, but not now? :D ).
If yes, can you recommend a VPS host? Many years ago I heard that DigitalOcean, for example, banned a lot of accounts (miners).
 
I am waiting for the sacrifice from @Festinger . If he approves, I will dive into this knee deep without asking any questions :D
