How it is possible? - Adsense

I would not.
I got my AdSense banned years ago with $4.5k legit money, now it's way stricter and I try to use AdSense only when no other network has fill, it's too risky and you can make more money long-term doing legit business :)

That's exactly what I was thinking. This method won't pass a manual review and he will eventually get banned.

I did a similar thing few years back. They were paying me for few months and then blocked my account. At peak I had 200k monthly visits and around 20k$ revenue. He's probably going to get banned within few months. Mine CTR was in the normal range too

I guess you were buying traffic. Were you doung illegal ad placement as well?

Look like a clean ban right before the payment don't even need to review.. Google algorithm knows exactly what the site doing every single second , this is beyond stupid thinking the account is getting a penny.

OP make sure you update , since you manage the site @RandomX

@RandomX can you record your screen while refreshing the page? it turns out that it's hard to believe what you've shown on the pictures... either something is missing, or something is being faked :)

Or if legit he can just post the site.
If not post html of site so we can test ourselves

What networks you're using? I'm mostly familiar with many networks / SSPs, but I'm always keen to hear more.

I agree that AdSense is the strictest platform out there when it comes to catching non-human traffic (and withholding payment!)

Lol it can be still faked dude. If you change your hosts file in windows, you can show google.com/adsense from different ip. I guess you are a new blackhatter

Yes and no. What you said about the IP is true, but for the hat it's not I have never liked wearing hats in my life :smirk:
Anyway, I'm interested in this case but how it started to sound bogus to me

Yeah. No my ads were normal. My CTR was 2-4% if I remember correctly.

In my experience, banner ad CTR of 2%-4% is very high. For a site in a specific vertical (let's say skiing), with a banner ad advertising skiing equipment (poles, skis, hats, etc.) the CTR would be in the 0.20%-0.30% range, and that's for large-sized 300x600 banners.

Pre-Roll Video ad CTRs will be in the 1%-2% range. Anything higher than that is fishy. That's not to say that it will get you banned--there are certain unscrupulous advertisers that want to show their clients as high of a CTR as possible, so they will specifically seek out abnormally high sites. But having too-high CTRs are likely to get you banned / blacklisted eventually.

I used 2 squared ads (think it was 300x250) in the middle of content and 1 large 300x600 in the sidebar. But yeah the CTR was probably that high because of the type of traffic that was used. I think later I even removed some ads to lower CTR and look less fishy since I was making enough money already.

That ad setup actually sounds pretty reasonable. I've seen some sites with like 16 ad tags and it looks terrible. Most buyers (but not all) are smart enough to spot that and blacklist the sites.

Any traffic that's providing you a 2% CTR, unless it's super-super targeted (and the ads would have to be too) is going to be fishy and likely bot. I've known some traffic providers (and some ad networks too, god help us) that send bot traffic and clicking on banners to make it seem like better traffic or to boost the revenue they get from their ads.

Hopefully you weren't exposed to too much of that.

@Elliot305 share some insight dear.

Those numbers are easily attainable using PPV traffic and a variety of lander types (update privacy settings, incoming call/message, porn). Getting paid is harder as you'd need to have a system to stay undetected. That's where the real method comes in, not generating the numbers. I would always use new domains so naturally there wouldn't be any history to look at.

Would you mind going into more detail here? What do you mean by "lander types?"

Also, you think the smart play is to have a completely new domain, then you get paid and then you get banned after? That would mean you get a who new Adsense account each site you start. It seems impractical.

Had 3 versions of the method and each used a different deployment strategy but they all revolved around using landers to generate the rev. Back then getting accounts was easy and their review process for traffic on those accounts was lax. Don't have my tutorial videos anymore but I did find V2 uploaded on YT which explains some of the concepts:

mean time in Europe ;
CTR 1.3%

Yes my mistake :)
Looked to the different sheet.
Need to jump to other niche :) cars/finance

I believe your math is wrong. CTR is for impressions, right? So 879 clicks / 170K imps = 0.52% CTR. Still high for banners, but not egregiously so.
