How is this competitor getting these backlinks?

Hi, I'm new here! and this is my first thread in this community! I run a blog for more than a year now! the DA is 35 but the traffic is nothing big, i barely get 40 organic sessions per day even though I have 3.9K keywords detected on my Ahrefs!

I run a check on one of my competitors and he has a blog with almost 31 DA and the traffic is waaaay bigger than mine! i checked the backlink profile and I found that he has nearly 20K backlinks in a short period!

I have attached down below a screenshot of the backlink profile!

can anyone here with the expertise to figure out how they do this kind of backlinks? is it GSA SER ? RankerX?

Hey, I am not exactly sure about your situation, but are you doing internal linking on your blogs? It may be that your competitor is doing so. Second, there are multiple bot tools to shoot such backlinks, but they are the game of short spam.

Quantity doesn't matter for backlink, just stick to quality backlinks. It help's your website in long term.

I know but they are doing super great with over 300k sessions per month this is part of a thorough investigation that I've done on many many competitors in the same niche! it can't be natural links for sure because of a sudden spike in the number of referring domains!

I do have super-quality backlinks from legitimate sources that I've earned naturally through out the year! i've been featured in a magazine too! but i don't get that much of backlinks and the amount of traffic they get!

For sure they blast links on their website. You can mix up the links. I suggest buy links from high quality news websites so you will get traffic.

Domain authority doesn't mean you will outrank him.

It's all about quality niche relevant backlinks, sitespeed, engagement and probably a million other secret sauce metrics google uses.

The reason this forum sells so many SEO services and PBNs is because it works. Your competitors most likely used them to great effect.

i have all of the above and beyond but still can't outrank even in the easiest keywords! One thing is sure they have 20K+ backlinks and I only have 400.

You have only 400 backlinks? How many referring domains? How relevant are they to your niche and what's their DA/Backlink profile?

270 referring domains! Most of them DA 60+ and 79 for one magazine! Relevant 100% in my niche and naturally aquired backlinks!

Keep doing what you doing, slow but quality. Did you visited some of those sites and backlinks? Pure garbage and spam. He will fall fast enough.

He probably already had the database and connections, works in many niches and bulk buy those links cheaply.

I think that they are doing some outsourcing and the guy who is doing the backlinks for them is using GSA or rankerx cuz those same backlinks are on everyone of them! Same!

GSA no longer works. There is no way he can rank first with GSA

They did! First they built foundation with authority links and then to diversify they did a huge campaign because it is not realistic to get that amount in a short period of time

I used to use LINK WHISPER
It just uses keyword matching
To actually deliver value, you need to make sure that the page you're link to BENEFITS from the content of the page you're linking to it.
There has to be a VALUE FLOW between pages - and this must revolve around the SEARCH INTENT behind the keyword you're using as an anchor.

Link Whisper is great for saving time but if you want to maximize the value of your existing content inventory and get better rankings, you might want to try the manual process above.
