How is this channel monetized?

I mean this channel is huge they have over 2,4k videos. Ant there are thousands and thousands of pictures and many short videos (even from popular movies). And they never give any credit to any pictures or videos (you don't need to credit fair use pictures, i understand that. BUT there are many of pictures with copyright or at least creative commons atributions and you must give a proper credit).All they do is write SOURCES: and put links where they got their info and pics. But is it enough?

With that amount of subscribers they must have system. There are a couple ways how they could game the system.

They could have a team that contacts the owners of certain images/videos and asks them for permission. What i think is more likely is that the creator of copyrighted content gets a percentage of the income of this video. Nowadays this is a common practice. However, there are people that just do not credit the owner and just use the video. In most cases, people will not take down the video because it would simply mean that they throw out money of the video. A copyright strike means that the video gets taken down and the owner gets a strike, that's a negative for both sides. When you are the copyright owner then you file a claim and get the revenue of the video (sometimes even the entire revenue), the channel does not recieve a strike and only gets cut from the revenue of the video.

However, with a channel that is this big, i am pretty sure they are under certain licenses that they have a fair use or a contract that they can use images/videos and give the rightful owner a % of the income that they generate through the video.

So its either :

A - They ask for permission
B - They just use it and risk a strike or content claim
C - They have contract to share the revenue with the content creators

Wouldn't it take forever finding who owns that picture, contacting them and waiting for reply?

Yes but they do that, there are tons of reverse search image tools, like the standart google tool or tineye.com, it shouldn't be that hard to find it out to be honest. There are also a ton of companies that offer licenses to certain creations, like VideoBlocks or AudioBlocks, Shutterstock and much more.
 
most clips even movies' clips can be used just dont exceed the 15 seconds max limit, and it has to be either review, telling a story, for education etc, thats what fair use means. What that guy does is using the clips well within the fair use limit. You can do the same. Many people dont know their right. Any copyright work can be used as long s you use it well within the fair use law limit. He uses videos, pictures voice, lots of animation etc, it will be hard for one company to take down his video for copyright because he actually combines a lot of different clips and what not to make one video.
 
Citing sources is kind of like a myth in youtube since its not YT which claims videos its the other creators and if they think its okay its all okay.
Also no channel would like to deal with a bigger authority channel unless they have a solid proof that they are violating something.
