Because you are exposing another's niche and giving people cause to replicate it and compete with him and his site shows up on BHW which many would not like as there is a misconception as to what this site is to the uninformed.

One idea is to do some homework / analysis on the website creator (whose name is on the bottom, with a hyperlink to their business website) and the sites they built - there are plenty. Might be a discernible pattern, or names associated with other sites to indicate a PBN (as suggested above).
Not sure how much effort down this path is worth it vs just doing what you need to do to rank normally.

Top ranking sites have hidden links that are powerful enough to rank them where they do.

Member since 2011? It's rather simple really. One would just block certain bots from crawling website.

Well, it's helped me find some interesting techniques and links. Too much will just ruin your time but some research is always good.
