How I Started to Earn Money with Amazon Affiliate Program

I want to share my history, how it began.

I was always interested in earnings through Internet, so from time to time I looked for and browsed various sources on how to earn money without great efforts and financial expenses and so it is a passive income whenever possible.

My first attempts were to create simple websites with use of ready themes for CMS WordPress and place AdSense advertizing on these websites. The text for the websites partially was written by me, while the rest was a rewriting. Then, sometime later I began manually adding selective Amazon products on the websites piece by piece. Thus, I already began to earn some money not only on Google AdSense, but also by means of Amazon Affiliate Program.

I wanted something bigger, so I thought how it would be possible to place a huge number of products, but without adding them piece by piece as it consumed a lot of time and forces. I started to get it dealing with Amazon Affiliate API and tried to develop a simple and very clear plugin for CMS WordPress.

Shortly after, I developed Amazon Partner Plugin, which could import many thousands of products from various categories. However, a question aroused: how to show products, for freely available themes for WordPress were not compatible with my plugin. So I just up and developed a theme especially for working with Amazon Partner Plugin.

The finished solution was in the following:

Amazon Partner Plugin + Theme = A Ready Website.

Thus, having developed Amazon Partner Plugin I began to earn money on a really passive income without spending time and efforts.

So what is the purpose of posting it as a journey? Will you update this with what you do, as right now all you are saying is:

- I developed a plugin and theme and that's how I made money...

You left out how you started, as you do not get API access until you refer your first 3 sales these days.

Either way, I suggest not answering PMs that ask about you plugin/theme as you cannot sell here unless you have marketplace thread...

If you want to sell your plugin, start a sales thread. You just set up a website with plugin and what about traffic, dont tell me the plugin generates traffic too. This is a shady way to market your plugin, have some dignity and do the right thing.

I know what API Amazon does. I can set up an amazon influencer storefront and get it approved and set it up with products same day , to achieve same feat your plugin and template does.

Just a website doesn't generate sales without traffic. Are you implying that with your amazon partner plugin + theme , give a ready website that would earn commissions from amazon without the need for sourcing traffic ?

So...
You are saying that you built a site, did zero backlinking, yet managed to rank well enough to get enough organic traffic to your site through "modified text" to be earning passive income?

I am not the brightest on this form by any means, but something seems pretty off to me.

Can you go into a bit more detail about what you have actually DONE?

You cannot be being serious when you expect us to believe that just a couple of plugins and "modified text" and Amazon API did everything for you?
