Is your method a kind of dropshipping?is it doable with affiliate sites?
btw thanks for great tutorial![]()
Nice method! I'm watching this one. Keep us updated.
Thanks for updating us on your results!
Did you use Shopify or another online platform to initially set up your website? Or did you code everything yourself? I have very basic HTML & CSS knowledge.
Do you drop ship only in the US or worldwide? When you get customers from states where your wholesale supplier is located, do you charge them the sales tax or do you eat the costs?
I did drop shipping a few years ago, but I ended up messing up and losing about $300. That experience left me really discouraged. Your results are inspiring my lazy ass again.
I would drop ship books on Amazon and half dot com. With each of my purchases, the wholesaler I used would give 5% store credit towards each future purchase. That along with combining my purchase with a online rewards portal like e.bates (1-2% cash back) & credit card points (1%) would be my profit. So very slim margins, but I intended to make it up in volume.
I messed up by 1) drastically undercutting my prices vs competitors for fear of losing out & 2) spamming e.bates. For each purchase, I'd sign up for their $5 for new members with new email accounts. They banned my accounts & cancelled all of my cash back
Here's something that I've been applying with reselling. Sign up for credit cards with big bonuses (ex: spend $4k in 3 months and get 50k points) & use them to make your purchases.
How did you search only users that have liked within the past 12 hours?? How can you refine like that on instagram? Thank you!
I'm not sure if I'm missing the point or am just plain stupid. I have some questions.
Sorry if these questions are stupid, I am new to this whole thing.
- So what you do is buy the item from the company, tell them to ship it to the buyers address, then pocket the money?
- You never have the buyers item in your possession, correct ?
- How would this work when the same items are available for cheaper on the interwebs? Are the buyers meant to be ignorant to this?
Edit: Disregard questions 1 and 2 I saw replies to other peoples similar questions.

Hey @ContentExpert , thank you for your update and thread!
I've been looking to start my own dropshipping stores and your thread was the final push (I already have instagram experience). I have a couple questions though regarding your journey:
1. How has the first store been performing in objective terms? (Sales/per day , number of new followers/per day, total followers - I ask to understand what's reasonable to expect from this instagram approach to dropshipping).
2. What are your plans for this second account? Are you going to promote affiliate products/paraphernalia from weed stores?
Again, thank you for the inspiration!
That's great, glad to know! The first page is doing well, currently sitting at around 14.2K followers and in the past week has made me around $160 in "profit".
The second page is growing at a much faster rate then my first page and is increasing at a rate of around 250-300 followers per day. Yesterday when I posted my second account here on the forum, I was at 823 followers. Take a look at how many followers the account has now:

That's great, glad to know!
Have you though about creating additional accounts and use them to redirect traffic to your main account? That would probably increase not only the daily followers amount but also your profit as it would expose you to an higher amount of people.
