How I Made $53 Today On InstaGram

Fashion is selling better than your niche. If people fail, that's because their poor content/website. To give you an ex, instead of posting a stupid random picture with a pair of shoes, better photoshop a celebrity wearing that pair of shoes, and add a 80% discount :)

That's a good point, I guess it really does come down to the quality of the page, site and products offered.

Update:

It has been some what of a slow week, not sure why as my traffic to the site has actually increased although there has been some sales:

2 Laptops Sold - $83.43 Profit Total
Galaxy S7 Edge - $41.38 Profit (I added a "Cell Phones & Accessories" page to the site)
Wireless Keyboard - $12.13 Profit
Wireless Mouse - $8.69 Profit (The person who purchased the keyboard is the one who purchased the mouse)

Hopefully traffic and sales continue to sustain and scale. I'm going to be diversifying my traffic sources to increase my sales although I'm not going to be focusing on organic traffic due to the incredible competition for this industry. I feel at this point that I should take the couple hundred dollars or so that I've made with this site and set up some FB ads.

Let me know what you guys think of this idea! :)

U are indeed a marketing expert, I have been thinking of what to do with my social media accounts all this while, even thought of this method but doubted its success. Now am confident enough to give it a trial.

I wouldn't consider myself to be a marketing "expert" I believe I just lucked out but perhaps I found something that I'm just good at. What I like about this method/approach is the number of unique niches that can be chosen. The possibilities are endless.

Great Idea! One question to people from the Netherlands though; Is it legal to do this (like the topic starter) without a KVK/registered as company?

Did you add your own personal number or did you buy a sim specifically for your website? Thanks.

I registered a phone number with "Google Voice" and this number I have forwarded to my personal number.

One thing that I had not mentioned in my thread yet is that I hired someone from Fiverr to record a professional voice mail which states my website's name along with the contact email for the company as an alternative method of contact.

The more ways you provide your potential buyers to contact you the more likely you are to instill trust in them as buyer's always wants transparency with whomever they're working with and understandably so.

Thanks for the reply, can you please PM me your Skype Id, please I will need more guidance on the method.

That's something you'll need to research yourself. I know in the US there are plenty of unique options when it comes to starting/operating a business. I suggest you check the laws and regulations in the country that you reside to see what's required for you to legally operate a business.

What an awesome day! I received a shout out on another related page on InstaGram where my page was tagged and the clicks on my website URL in my bio really jumped today! Look at these stats! :D Traffic.png

I made three sales today. I'll have to go take a look again at which products I sold and how much I made in profit for the day. I'll post the figures in a few minutes.

You have no idea how much you just helped me...cheers :D

So some of you were curious as to how much revenue was made yesterday with the spike in traffic and it was by far the best day as of yet! In total, 4 sales were made yesterday and I'll itemize them below along with my sale price in addition to my cost:

Sale Amount:

$269.99 - This was for the sale of a graphics card. My cost was $249.99 putting the profit on this sale at roughly $20.

$18.99 - This was for the sale of a computer mouse. This was a very cheap sale, my profit on this was $6.

$129.99 - This was for the sale of a 4TB External HD. My profit on this sale was $15.

$89.99 - This wasn't the biggest sale of the day buy yet it yielded me the largest profit on a single sale. This was a purchase for a computer case, my cost on this was only $49.99 so I made $40 in profit.

Total profit for the day - $81

Congrats on your record profit day. Now to figure out how to get that amount of traffic everyday, ka-ching.

That would be nice. What would be smart at this point is to start purchasing shout out's on largely followed pages within the same niche. This one shout out that I received drove enough traffic to my site to generate $81 in profit. So long as I pay less then that for a shout out, there's profit to be made but there's no guarantee that the results would be as great.

Depends. I will explain down below in dutch.

Het is toegestaan mits je belasting betaald. Inkomstenbelasting moet je dus gewoon opgeven. Je kan hiervoor gerust eens bellen met de belastingdienst. Die kunnen het je namelijk makkelijk uitleggen. Succes!

Yes, officially you need a Kamer van Koophandel number because you are running a business so have to pay inkomsten belasting.
I think till a certain amount you can do it without a KVK but it's very low.

If you selling outside the EU you don't need to pay the BTW in the Netherlands.

Also, a lot of paymentprocessors need a VAT number (BTW nummer) or they won't lift the limits and a VAT number you only get if you got a KVK, Paypal also holds your money 21 days for 60 days once you selling regularly.

To OP.
So basically you are dropshipping, but as you dropship from a retailer I don't think this method will give you a stable income because people will Google the item for the best price?

Thanks for the share.

How much time it took you to build the site?

Ecommerce? All payments?

Very impressive.
Perhaps I can try this too.

Good luck if you do, there seems to be quite a lot of people who are interested in giving this method a try so I may write up a guide and post it here for you guys. :)

The website itself took me around 4-5 hours to build and about another 3-4 hours to import all of the products that I wanted to have listed for sale. For those who plan on using plugins to import products from sites such as Amazon, you can easily expedite the process.
