How I made $1,500 dollars in 24 hours.

but who is acutally getting directly to the website by "type in"?
I am using google chrome. If I type in "fresno luxury car" I get to google and google nor chrome does not show fresnoluxurycar.com.
If I type in "fresnoluxurycar" it does not show me fresnoluxurycar.com eather. Only if I visited fresnoluxurycar.com ONCE BEFORE, it will suggest it to me in my browser.

I know that fresnoluxurycar.com does not exist. But it does not work for ANY keyword.
That was just an example. I don't know if that website is registered or not. I recommend being local, you build more confidence that way if they know you are local.

I know it does not exist. But I have never seen a type-in recommendation before. Can you show me one example of any website, that I can reach via type in?

I have never read a method that was described as poorly as this was. I would consider myself advanced but even I don't have a clue as to what you are talking about, particularly regarding the claim that chrome handle's type-in's differently which is not the case from my experience.

I can't please everyone, but I have been told but quite a few that I did the best I can. I am not as advanced as you are. I just wrote exactly how I did it in my own words. You can either take it or leave it.

Go to chrome and type in: garagedoors, com, it'll take you to a different domain, but it shows in Chrome.

I don't do fake, that's not legit business practice. That's what gives everyone a bad name repping this business. Even if you take a "loss"of what you thought you'd get, I rather have a little at a time than some unrealistic payday based on a lie.

So this is just about typing the keyord + .com into the browser. People might have done type ins like this before there was google. but honestly nowardays I cant imagine anyone doing this. maybe for super domains like credit.com...

So OP wasn't very clear in his original message. I'll try to break it down for ya'll.

1. Create site targeting some sort of luxury product in local area.
2. Contact luxury business claiming you own a website in his niche.
3. Tell them many people search for my site through chrome, and I get xxx traffic per month.
4. Up sell like a MOFO
5. Profit.

Hopefully that makes sense, in terms of traffic idk how much traffic op was getting but 100-1000 per month is a HUGE estimate for random people in a local area looking up your domain without it ranking on the first page. Other than that, cheers, nice method.

but what was he selling though??? a space on his website or his website as a whole?

It doesn't matter what he is selling. His basically just telling you his thought process and what he did to make $1500.

There is so many ways to make money through this way. You can sell advertising space, offer to give him the site, offer to redirect the site. The possibilities are endless, it is really up to who the client is and what can best utilize his traffic as well as provide you with the highest payout.

Something's missing I think. OP definitely wouldn't rank for a term with volume in just 24 hours, and get 100 - 1,000 visitors/mo off the bat. As someone else mentioned, it's 2016 no one is "typing in" these terms in Google (or at least enough people to get volume). Either he doesn't know how to measure traffic and is making assumptions on traffic he may be getting, or he's misleading business owners.

If it's either of the two, you can only do this so many times until it catches up to you.

Always provide value to your customers. Even if it's just setting up a simple site, business owners will happily pay the $1,500 (many would gladly pay $XX,XXX).

I know this may seem hard to believe. I understand that we aren't supposed to put links, but I took my idea from this website. I won't even link it, but I'll Top Atlanta Luxury Hotels. put the .com. I read the blog that followed it and I ran with my idea. I could have made xx,xxx or whatever, but I felt I was being realistic asking 1500. Listen, I started at 400. Every call I made, i upped the price. Was I wrong? in some aspects, but the majority, I didn't. Type in traffic is lucrative, especially in high dollar ecommerce. Most people who have money, they buy online with their black card. The guy who bought the product I sold, he paid with a CREDIT CARD. A WIRE from his CREDIT CARD. They don't care. They think they are above the peons.
I didn't mislead him. I told him I received my data from Google adwords. He was like, oh yeah that's legit info. I said you'll at least get 100 visitors. We broke it down, blah, blah..

I didn't rank, or anything. I bought it, I dressed it up and went hunting. Beginner's luck? Possible. I'll evolve from this and become greater!

Am I making sense here??

You did make sense from the first post. I don't know why people couldn't get the idea even in the beginning.
Great share!

I just think 100 visitors a month is highly unrealistic. And therefore it is way to scammy to do it. Anyway, I did learn a thing or two here. Thanks OP

$1,500 for a website is very fair imo. But you're selling him on traffic he's expecting and won't get. Will he figure it out? Probably not.

It's possible you don't fully understand how type-in traffic works and may have unknowingly mislead this guy into buying from you. Generic terms and large brands tend to get type-in traffic (ex: socks.com, poker.com, phones.com, etc.) and those are very valuable - not "TopAtlantaLuxuryHotels.com". The next time you pick a domain you assume will get XXX visitors from "type-in" traffic, install analytics and see how much traffic you get in 30 days. I think you'll be surprised.

Regardless, congrats on setting this up, doing research, and having the balls to cold call these guys til you get your sale. Next time, just provide actual value for them. Either setup a site, rank it, and get real verifiable traffic, or just sell them on the site and maybe even upsell your SEO services.

Thanks dude, I definitely have a lot to learn. I am still getting my feet wet with this adventure!

I find this brilliant. The thing is that BadGrammar didn't wan't to make" a guide for dummies " therefore he didn't explained all of the clicks he made. He just explained the concept which is pretty awesome. He gives people what they want. It can be misleading or not. Since he got a wire transfer I don't think he is actually risking too much. After all he said that he made a lot of research on it so we should be thankful that he described some of the method. Of course, I would also love to have a 30 min conversation with him, but I`m sure it will never happened.
I would only ask one thing from you...Is it possible to let us know if it works second time?

how would he make money from sending an email to hundreds of other email addresses

The "hundreds of other emails" are his list. He sends an email recommending a product or service to his list and they buy it through his affiliate link.

You should of titled your thread correctly and said how to dress up and site make it look nice and call sucker dealerships and rip them off in 24 hours.

Your basically cold calling car dealers who are hungry for sales and suckering them into wasting their money on your newly made site w no traffic and no way for them to make any money off what they paid you for.

Your basically ripping them off.
And hey I'm not judging you this is bhw
And that surely is black hat all the way.
But man you write as if your doing something good when your basically just dressing up a site with some articles which nothing will rank for a month or so anyways since you just made it. And your ripping people off...

Should edit the title so your not misleading the noobs here...
