Hello everyone,

i wanted to share with you my story and ask you kindly for useful tips if its possible.

Im a young doctor ( resident in surgery who has been always enthusiastic about IT and tech, first i got a first degree in computer science before i went on to pursue my M.D , so my programming skills are there, but definitely regressing with time.

recently i started to play a bit with Instagram, currently im growing my personal account ( i have now 21k followers with an engagement rate of 9% *) and im getting daily about 200 new followers , all what i did was to promote a post of mine wearing my stet-scope where im offering a free online consultation, so the response was beyond what i expected, the post did an amazing job and in the first week i got about 3k new followers . what strategy should I adapt to monetize the profile ? most of my followers are ladies 89 % , im a resident in plastic surgery and women are more interested in such a niche . i was thinking in the direction of writing my own e Book and selling it to my followers "about clinical strategies on losing weight " but i was not sure about it, since 21k followers are not enough audience to target for such a big effort for now. do you think i should go direction of making sponsored posts ? should i write some beauty- medical brands ? or to wait for offers which im not getting until now? in the bio of the profile i share a link to my personal blog ( WordPress site ) which is getting currently about 150-200 views per day, where im writing a medical article about plastic surgery operation once a week, cant do more due lack of time, so im not too optimistic about monetizing the blog. Any ideas guys ?

Im sorry for my English mistakes

Thank you and any suggestion is highly appreciated

I would advise you to be cautious of writing e-books about nutrition or anything medical and selling it from a personal profile.

A few simple errors could put your career at risk. Or a few pissed off people.

you said you don’t have that much time ...there are so many social media manager available here... and their service are really good... you can make post in hire freelancer section...

Good to see a Dr here. BHW reach is way higher.

Thank you for your advise, im not going to write "junk " of course, if im going to write something under my name its going to be based on clinical studies and give a real value, then it would be reviewed by more specialists and only then published , this is why I thought its not worth it at least for now. But I really appreciate your reply , its an important aspect of course
