How Hard is it to Hit The Thanks Button?

I have never asked for "Thanks", but for some reason,
I keep getting them . . . Hey!, wait a minute! . . .Maybe
THAT is the SECRET! . . . If you DON'T ask for "Thanks",
you will get more! . . . Weird, eh? . . . Oh well, I am off
to make a WSO based on my newly discovered SECRET. :)

Cheers! - "Wiz"

Thanks!

Ahem people. I won the most polite award in 8th grade. I have you all beat.

OK, I am not a thanks whore, but I have noticed that a lot of people are seriously ungrateful.

If I get some useful information from a fellow member, or some free stuff, I always hit thanks. It doesn't cost a penny and takes about one second.

If someone has gone to the trouble to help, or has spent money or time on helping others, I think it's simple good manners to show some appreciation for that. Manners cost nothing.

Rant over.

James :)

Thanks whoring obliged. I just hit you with my thanks load. :P

Seriously though, agreed.

I think people should mind their own business, and not worry about what other people do.

I think it's f''cking rude to be an ungrateful parasite and if I help someone in someway and they show ill manners, it is my business.

What about making a thanks Bot, which can thanks every new post on your behalf. :trytofly:
Thanks by the way for your pot.

sadly its the way of the internet you lose the personal feeling you would if you got the info in person. that being said some people are just rude

Awww bless you son. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I mean that most sincerely lol.

User Guide for the ones who never likes to press that button:

I know it is very very hard for you and for the people like you, so here is a quick quide:

1. Hold your mouse,
2. Move the arrow on the "Thanks" button, (slowly, be patient, deep breath)
3. Press left mouse button. (Yes press it. You can do it. Yes you can)
4. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh. You did it.

Bunch of assholes didn't even thank me for this brilliant and insightful post. Bunch of goddam ingrates. I'll never try to help anyone here, ever again.

I have to agree with Nigel.. help if you want to help, if you don't want to, then don't. But if you help, do it out of good heart and don't expect anything in return.

I know what you are saying about some people being ungrateful. I give shit away just because i either dont need that information or I have an excess of something and hording it is pointless. I also give things away because it makes me feel good to know that I have helped somebody put a meal on their table or buy a new sports car or home for that matter. Its nice to be nice and it doesn't take much to return the gesture.

A perfect example of where people have shown a lack of gratitude would be here - In this thread I have given over 450 people 2000 Instagram followers for free, I didnt do this to earn thanks, I have enough of those already, I done this giveaway because I have a shit load of accounts and it does not cost me any money or much time to make a few hundred people happy, so why not? But if you look at that thread, out of the 450+ people that got 2000 followers for free, only 127 people actually bothered to show any form of gratitude. Its a little disheartening to see this, especially when were all here to help each other out and show a bit of comradery.
