Hi,

I know it's a silly question, but I have no idea really how G knows that the link is paid !
I'm saying paid here not low quality. Because if anyone is curious, he'll check the traffic and the DR of the site will take the link on.
Is there a pattern for those? or how they get caught?

Regards,

There is no way for G to know if a link (backlink) is paid for or not. DISCLAIMER : How G detects the quality, etc of a link / backlink (spammy or not, etc) is another different story.
Oh!
That leads to the same result.

No, sorry to say, both do not lead to the same result. I'll explain. Let us say there is an awesome backlinks provider named Mr.A.
I buy backlinks from this Mr.A. But, this same Mr.A is your close friend and provides you backlinks for free.
BOTH, the backlinks of your's AND mine are (let's assume) detected by G as NON-spammy and of high trust (great quality).
How will G know that I paid for these backlinks and you did NOT pay for these backlinks ?

They can't know, what they can know, though, is the quality of the backlinks. Are they spammy, are they coming from one IP address (Bad PBNs setup)? Then they can detect that this person paid for a PBN to make backlinks. Then your ass gets thrown out.

For starters, G has a total of 3 billion lines of AI coding to detect this sort of stuff.

As i've read some time ago, The Big G can detect if it's a paid backlink if the content creator adds "rel=sponsored". I'm not pretty sure about this but i've read some time ago. You can do some research about this rel attribute and see yourself.

and they still fail
Well machines haven't taken over the world yet, they day they catch us all 100% means AI has grown more than humans in it real essence and that will be doomsday for us human beings.

well yeah, I agree with this part. But I was contesting your previous reply. You implied that G is almighty and can easily detect paid backlinks, which is not true :)

If G could detect the links which paid, how it does? Analysis all the backlinks in the same page? Same site?:):)

I think g no via, looking at the website and thinking if that website even worth the backlink.

I am sure g manually checks stuff out flagged from the ai to get manual review.

If you pay for a big backlink for a new website of course g no it was paid for.

What the odds a big branded website hooks up with a wannabe website

Sorry true

It's damn easy to understand a link is paid or not . even a SEO guy can detect it by
1. is it comment or not
2. is it profile or not
3. is it forum or not
4. is it blogspot or not
5. is it subdomain of a blogging script
6. OBL
7. Daily articles

not to piss you off or anything, but can you tell which ones (if any) of these links (that are circled in red) are paid, and which ones aren't? Because I don't think it's as easy as you make it out to be :)

I think G patents is about a trained model for Many patterns they caught fir years.

Lately, they asked publishers to make it sponsored to give the model better training dataset.

That's my thoughts. Don't know for sure.
