How Firefox tracks you

Found a hilarious thread on GitHub.

People complain that Firefox - the browser that is supposed to focus on privacy, uses Google Analytics on the about:addons page.

Reply from one of the developers of the browser:

we will not be removing analytics support entirely. It is extremely useful to us and we have already weighed the cost/benefit of using tracking
