Not “myth version”. Real logic of how Meta evaluates your creatives, accounts, links, and behavior - and why some ads get banned instantly while others fly for months.

Stage 1 - Risk Assessment of the Account (before creative matters)

The moment you upload an ad, Facebook does NOT start from your creative.
It starts from you:

Facebook checks:
• age of account
• lifetime spend
• refund history
• share of rejected ads
• number of policy violations
• GEO patterns
• historical complaint rate
• how often you change assets, BM, billing, proxies, etc.

This creates an internal trust score.
This is why new accounts always suffer and old accounts feel magically easier.

Stage 2 - Technical + Metadata Fingerprint

Before even scanning the creative visually, Meta fingerprints the setup:

• advertiser category (sensitive / normal / risky vertical)
• campaign objective (traffic? leads? conversions?)
• suspicious patterns (same domain reused by many advertisers, cloaking history, redirects)
• GEO-risk (some countries trigger stronger review)
• billing behavior
• whether the account type historically required manual moderation (as Reuters reported)

Even tricks like Antarctica targeting sometimes influence moderation because they distort perceived GEO risk, which can push ads into a different review path.

Stage 3 - AI Text & Visual Analysis

Now Meta analyzes the creative itself. It’s multimodal AI analyzing:

✔️ Text in image & video frames
✔️ Spoken audio converted to text
✔️ On-screen claims and visual metaphors
✔️ Sensitive themes
✔️ “Emotional manipulation patterns”
✔️ Unrealistic promises (ROI scams, miracle cures, guaranteed earnings, etc.)

Meta’s internal system:
• flags
• scores severity
• compares with past scam datasets
• predicts user harm probability

It doesn’t ban for sure, it assigns risk probability.

If you find it useful, let's wait for the next part.
