How expensive to rank a site

View attachment 16880

This is a report from RankRanger. I had RankRanger check rankings for these keywords in Google and Bing;

android tablet
android tablet comparison
android tablet review
android tablet reviews
android tablets
cheap android tablet

The site did not rank in the top 500 for either search engine. androidtablets24.de has a PageRank of 2 and an Alexa rank of 2,140,000 which indicates that the backlinks pointing to the site are poor and the traffic is VERY low.

Majestic-SEO shows 27 referring domains to androidtablets24.de of which 25 are different IP addresses

So you want us to believe that a site with 27 referring domains, a PageRank of 2 and NO traffic is honestly receiving traffic for the "android tablet" in Germany?

Hey bro, when I use my VPS which are in German to search the keyword "android tablet", androidtablets24.de is #1.
And you can search the domain androidtablets24.de in SEM rush, it is #1 for "android tablet" and "android tablets"

And for this competition, I will do a detailed research later :)

PS: I am noob, but I want to give you some help in German SEO as much as I can.[TABLE="width: 100%"]

I had it as number one for a moment, but then it disappeared after i cleared all my cache and got "second opinions" from credible sources.

Like i said in an earlier post, sometimes Google throws up weird results like this but they are not the true result and get no traffic.

After a short research(I download all the backlinks of androidtablets24.de), it is not that difficulty to beat at all.

If I were you, spend about $300 per month, you can get to #1 in 3-4 months.

except the last guys who answered nearly all of you is just talking ***
guys..what the heck are you talking about? Most of you should learn that there are totally different results when someone from the U.S. searches for a key in google and when some german guy does.

so please stop talking about it's nearly impossible to rank for this kw because it is NOT. And NO, there are not just authorities ranking for this kw.

here are the facts (i'm from germany too)

#1 for android tablet(s):
androidtablets24.de/

this website has nothing special at all. most of the backlinks are weak and OF COURSE it is possible to rank #1 for this kw in some months..

YES. It is corret, androidtablets24.de ranks #1 in germany. And now? I don't know why this should be something special.

Guys, there's a lot of miscommunication and name callign in this thread so I am goign to clarify a few things:

androidtablets24.de is number one for Germany, Language German.

Now for why it's number one, it's because it has a psuedo emd, Title, Description, Head.

Result will be different if the Language is set to English, which is where many online tools get tripped up because the usually only set the Geolocation, not the language.

The reason why something with low reffering domains can rank so highly?

Lot's of highly contextual sitewide backlinks, primary source:your-android.de

Advantage of this:

• German website to related keyword
• Link on every single page

Basically, this is a good old fashion Link Wheel.

Now I'm not sure what the alogirithms status is currently for Germany, the N-Grams for German that google has would be nowhere near as sophisticated as they have in English. In Australia, Penguin hit us around 2 months later than the US, I'm sure Germany, Spanish and other languages are simpler to rank in with using sitewide backlinks etc than modern methods.

This is good news for lutscher27 because this suggests that it would be more affordable to do German SEO with automated solutions. I wish I could help out more, unfortunately I am not an expect in Western European SEO/Non-English SEO.

It is an Enigma, i've seen this and experienced it myself many times before.

Maybe one datacentre is reporting it as number one, but in the wider web, it is no where near.

Anyone can outrank this site, but the true #1 for "android tablet" would be near impossible to outrank.

And yes, i've been checking in Germany.

You write here but just false data. I would appreciate it if you no longer give me help here, I listen to you anymore anyway. The other users here at least give me useful tips.

In germany we say to guys like you "pappnase"

If you don't like my advice that's fine - go ahead. No need to be rude.
I have finally found a way to get the site you are comparing yours to to number 1. Ahrefs has it there.
One of my VPS is german, and the site you claim is number 1 is no-where to be seen, Travis has it in the 80's. It's a risk mate. Also, you aren't trying to beat one site - to get on page one you have to shift the others out the way first.

Have you seen the rest of the competition?
Telekom.de for instance
Amazon.de
Chip
Tegesschau
Idealo
PCWelt
Efox
Golem
Dell

You want to butt horns with a page one like that? Then you have all the telcom companies, tech companies and hardware retailers to follow.
No-one sets out on a campaign to beat one random site - you to get to number 6 (the lowest spot you'll make any cash for) you need to beat all but five of the competition.

Take my word for it - The number one site is an anomaly. Whether you can get Google to present that site to you as number one using certain tools or circumstances is neither here nor there. YOu don't even get a crack at number one till you've beaten all the rest. And the rest are - in short BLOODY STRONG

If it was you v's that one site - then yeah. But don't make the mistake of thinking "That URL is number one - so that's all I need to beat" SEO is not like that at all

I type in holiday -this site is number 3

"Holiday" could make me millions a year - even from number 3. So do I go for the word holiday and think "getting to number 3 is just beating this site"?
It's got 2700 links (from only 370 domains - so many are sitewide links), no social signals, 1.edu link. crap layout, advertising all over the place and less than 3000URL's (many of which are auto generated location maps - there are only about 100 "proper" content URL's)

I could replicate the site and content in 3 days, and surpass the links over a period of 3 months (doing it slowly - in a day if I just went for it). Then sit back and make millions a month

One problem.....
That wouldn't happen.

135,000 local to Germany per month. (10 million plus worldwide) CPC estimate at almost 0.76e.
The site you are looking at is actually pretty good (even if it's not number one) Put the site in Ahrefs and see it for yourself. Few links but some real authority. good natural twitter, facebook and Google links..but that's not the point.

Doing well is not about beating this one random site.
That's all i'm going to say on the matter,

In the UK we have a word for people like you "know-it-all noob" :)

No it's NOT impossible to rank for that keyword. Question is, how do you wanna do it? Legit way, i.e. panda / penguin proof? Then it will take a while.

As for a shortcut? Many have tried, succeeded, only to fall back to earth with the new algorithm updates.

If i were you i'd take Scritty's advice. Problem is not how hard it is to rank for that keyword but WHO are your competitors. I've been and I am in mainstream niches like consumer electronics and the moment you start to outrank a big player like cNet they will bring in a big fat elephant to take a big dump on your head. These big players are all in good standing terms with Google and if they want you screwed they will screw you no matter how useful your site is. Not to mention you also compete against Google to a certain degree.

Yes - I didn't mention that.
So two (maybe three) consideration.

1) To get to number one from where you are it's not a case of just being better than ONE site. YOU HAVE TO BE BETTER THAN ALL OF THEM! Analysing one site (one of the weakest) just becasue it currently happens to be number one will get you no-where
2) Many WILL react. You don't perform SEO in a vacuum (Madoctopus point)
3) Sadly - life isn't fair. A site you think is weak can be there for a reason - or it can be just a blip. Blips sometimes last weeks not just days. EMD'd good META tags, decent meta description, and a site bluffs it's way to number one for a month or two. Then it goes

I assure you - this is a massive keyword. Of course you could get it (anyone could) but for most without massive budgets and a lot of patience it's not worth it.

But my main point is DON'T FIXATE ON ONE SITE - TO GET TO NUMBER ONE YOU HAVE TO BEAT THEM ALL. Not just the one that's numnber one now - but all the bigger boys in Google's first page - many of whom - you can bet your life - are actively optimizing onsite and off for that word right now. It's that big a word - active competition is a certainty.

You can use MagicSubmitter or SENuke to get the job done. There are some providers on Fiverr but few people actually get your work done correctly. In SEO, you really get what you pay for.

A lot of the cheap services that are out there usually work for a little while and then seem to get your site penalized, but there are certainly a few gems.

You honestly thing MagicSubmitter or SENuke will 'get the job done'? Did you even look at the keyword?

:bsflag:

If you are a professaional content writer then there isnt need any money to rank the site :P

what's going on with these donkey level comments? You are misleading other forum users with your bullshit.

I think the recent upheaval of Google search results shows why the site in question was ranking for "android tablet" in only a section part of the web.

There's no way a site like that would normally rank in the top 10 for such a hardcore term.

Just buy all top seo services from the BUY/SELL section, and then build some more backlinks.
