How effective is Quora for Link Building Traffic?

I've heard some friends who use this website as well having some real success in posting their blog links on Quora and getting a incredibly high CTR. Anyone else try this and see any real results worth doing this around your niche?

Yeah, it will benefit you in terms of SEO and if your answer is good & gets upvoted - will bring traffic.

Quora traffic is good especially if you write good answers - seen it deliver sales over and over.

I kind of figured it was more than a backlink, they didn't give a really in depth explanation of it but from what I see it does have a lot of traffic credibility on the website.

It's like Reddit, if your niche is a popular one the traffic will come.
 
I believe it will help you in gaining traffic on your website. Just make sure to have good answers and gain more upvotes. It is a goldmine for SEO keyword research. The site is already established as the largest question and answer website so it is pretty much helpful more in driving traffic than link building.

Make your profile solid - add relevant profile bio, pic and link to your website. Start following people in your niche and writing good answers (long answers with images/videos). With this you can get a high number of traffic to your sites.
 
if you are good storyteller, quora can be a good traffic source. for backlinks, it do not carry much weight but you can use that links for diversifying your main link building efforts.
 
Quora can bring you good traffic, just set up your profile properly and answer to the questions related to your niche. It will bring you good traffic.
 
With Quora , you want to make sure you provide the absolute best answer so it stays at the top and you reap all of that targeted traffic.
 
If you have good answers that get noticed by your target audience (in top or have many upvotes) you can get nice traffic to your site that converts into customers.
As for the backlinks, Ahrefs, for example, doesn't notice links from Quora as backlinks
 
Quora is excellent for building brand/personal authority, authority leads to links and citations, links lead to higher rankings, higher rankings lead to traffic, higher traffic results in... profit?
 
Quora answers rank on google themselves, so you get a good backlink and organic traffic, too. It's good.
