The only way to really find out how many real followers you have is to make a post and look at the engagement. If you have 75k followers and you get only 5 likes per post, there is a good chance that they are all fake accounts. Also, don't be scared to spend a little money to make money. No one has an idea?
Hello,
With Jarvee I would try this if I was you:
1. Scrape all your users.
2. Use block followers tool. It will block any user who hadn't engaged with you.
This won't tell you if a follower is fake or not. But it will tell you those followers who never had interacted with you, so if they are following you and have never interacted with your account (beyond of the initial follow) high chances are that the account was fake.
Cheers,
David.
Hello,There is a high chance, that those followers just never saw a post of yours in the feed. That's how IGs algorithm works nowadays. It shows you what it thinks is good for you. No chronological timeline anymore (there goes the Insta in Instagram...). They might be real followers, but they just never saw anything of yours after following you.
IGs algorithm is just a shitshow. You can go by the rule that ~20% of your followers will see your posts. (I don't even see my girlfriend's posts on my personal account's feed... I literally have to go to her page to like her new posts.)
Regards
Hello,
Yes, you are totally right. But try this:
Follow a NEW user with at least 10 posts. Then go to your feed and 70% of the time you will see at least 1 post of that user. Nevertheless, also when you follow someone is because you liked their posts, etc. I mean not exactly "like" with like action, I mean you liked the post (in your mind). And IG almost always show you AT LEAST 1 post of a new user, at least, maybe you scroll down so fast and you didn't interacted with it, well IG will do what you said, never will show you that user's posts again MAYBE. But anyways, it was just a suggestion. I didn't say that 100% a user that never interacted with you is a fake one. I stated that "high chances are" that is a fake one.
But let me add that what you are saying is 150% true.
Cheers,
David.
