How do you stay motivated?

You stay organized, disciplined and focused.

Motivation is for mediocre and average people.

Money. Making different amounts everyday is what motivates me.

Google Tony Robbins on youtube. The ultimate man for self improvement & motivation strategies.

Saying that..... I still struggle some days so its important to give yourself a break when needed.

I fucking hate the guru bullshit that people like Robbins peddle. The only "guru" I regularly follow is Tim Ferriss, just because he is a statistics junkie like me and doesn't sugarcoat anything... like me.

That being said, there was a podcast on the Tim Ferriss Show in late 2014 where him and Robbins spent about two hours talking about all sorts of things. Took some good notes and a few life lessons from it: http://fourhourworkweek.com/2014/10/15/money-master-the-game/

motivation? ... ;) every time when a larger invoice is paid in full.

Set a goal. I think we lose motivation when we feel that nothing changes around us, no matter what we do. For instance, I got to take 3 exams to finish a certification I needed to take. Before this series of exams, I took other 5 exams and I am still living on my savings, which is not great. I found motivation by thinking about the benefits of getting my work done.

I think you are already smart enough to be self-employed, I would like to make some money to support me during my journey.

Try to set targets to reach and make a reverse process to get there. Of course, you need to find a reason to get there:

Raising your living standards
Parents/family (it may help to have more spare time)
Your current relationship
Personal/Professional development

I hope it helps.

Kind Regards.

Whenever I feel like I need to keep my motivation I look at the freakin` bills on my desk.

Focus on your dreams and then just do it, don't let your dreams be dreams.
