How do you stay motivated to work?

Just very low source of income, now that I have a bit more money and stable I feel lazy lol. I remember scouring this forum reading everything everyday hoping to GOD that I will be free from my financial worries.

Not really. I am only looking to beautiful girls and then my motivation comes back xD
Hahh, still time consuming IMO, how many pics of those beautiful girls you have to look at for your motivation to come back?
I guess you might search for dozen if not hundreds of girls to get your motivation back, which requires a lot of time.

You might also not feel motivated because the end goal of what this gives you is not really what you want. Some self reflection is good once in a while. Jesus I read some of the posts here and I feel like I'm getting dumber just by reading them. If your main motivation is looking at girls or sex I feel sorry for you.

Chasing money is pointless if you're not satisfied with your life already. More money is never the answer to living a fulfilling life, even though a lot of the people (especially members of BHW) think so. If you don't believe me or think it sounds cheesy just wait, you will sooner or later come to the same conclusion.

It's ironic but having less usually leads to better mental health, maybe you need to reach the other end first, I don't know.

Same here I started 10 bucks a month and noe doing 5k - 7k that's enough for me

I rule that's more important is to build connections and pay respect to old players of your niche

I have a big problem with this, I can't stay focused anymore and I lose hope very quickly. 12 years ago, when I started making my first money, that was all I had in mind, I finished school and worked 10 hours without interruption. It's painful to make more money at 15 than at 27.

Reinforcing myself and being aware of my achievements helps me to stay on target. I avoid criticizing myself when I do something wrong or when things are not going well, that only detracts from your motivation.

Wow, congrats man :D What did your journey look like (did you work on affiliate, ecommerce,...)?

1. I love what I do and hence, I am always motivated

2. Money and More Money

In my line of work, at the very beginning, it was quite complicated because I was coming up with something that looked a lot like a UFO, and in my country, if you don't fit into a little standardized box, people tend to become morons.

Looking back, I think my main motivation was to prove wrong all the idiots who told me I was going to fail or get eaten up by my competitors.

At the time, a lot of people laughed at me. To them, what I was doing was bogus, and I didn't have the right network to make a place for myself, I wasn't someone's daughter or someone's wife. In short, I was nobody. I wasn't enough this, not that, too much this and too much that. According to them, I was heading straight for failure.

I didn't listen to them. I pissed everyone off. I did my own thing. I built my own professional network. And I started earning a decent living. Without anyone's help.

As a result, eight years later, I've buried all my competitors, and that wasn't even my goal.

As far as motivation is concerned, I think I'm a workaholic. If I go several days without doing anything, I start to lose it.

Money is obviously a driving force, especially at the moment because I have to go back to the operating table and health costs money.

But more than money or even notability, I think the thing that motivates me most, the thing that gets me up every morning, is my freedom.

By doing what I'm doing today, I'm free, and even if it took me a while to realize it, that's what matters most to me.

all i can said motivation is bullshit, just work and set ur schedule
You have a point

If people will only work if they feel motivated, it's too easy to find excuses to SLACK OFF or even GIVE UP

On the other hand, if they base WHEN THEY WORK and WHEN THEY STOP to something EXTERNAL (instead of something internal like FEELINGS), they are more likely to PRODUCE RESULTS

I use this approach with an EXTRA TWIST - I also focus on the EXTERNAL FACTOR that pushes me to stick to schedule: It is my responsibility to put food on the table for my wife and kid.
