How do you stay motivated to work?

We all know that, after trying and putting in efforts to achieve set goals and targets and looks like things are not working the way we wanted, we get discouraged, loose the flame to continue and sometimes give up.

I remember when I started my journey to earn online, after about a few trials, I almost gave up, I felt like it was impossible to earn a decent living online and maybe the testimonials I have been seeing are not true, until I met someone online who shared with me how much he earns monthly with affiliate marketing. He encouraged me to try more and do more research, saying if he can do that, I can do it too.

That moment motivated me never to give up and changed my story till today.

I'm not 100% sure, but at least I can guess how much profit they make on each purchase.

just remember only minority succeed earnign in online world, since it need discipline and laser focus on the project you do. this what most people lack now.

that depend on monetization they use, but usually it is using analytical tool to check their traffic and country that calculate estimation based on his moentization method

yup and distraction is not just video game/hang out/porn/ etc. even other methods and success, can distract you from working on your project.
it happens more often than you think when you do your project and it just keeps burning money&resource than you read about other people journeys they already earn money, makes you think does their method is better, etc2

I remember spending countless hours here on BHW reading other people's success, some threads are 20 pages+ long . Now I just wait till I've completed my to do for the day / or I'm really exhausted to come to BHW.

My major earnings come through e-commerce and social media marketing using Instagram.

a goal but more likely necessity motivates me, have to move out in less than 2 years and what is beginning the motivate me is a sense of urgency to save as much money as possible so I am prepared for my future. Also another motivator is to live as long as possible and to live each day as fruitfullly as possible because I know if I do not then I will have regrets 5, 10, 20 years from now if I sit stagnant for too long.

I listen music, so I don't get distracted with anyting else, once I stop listening music I start disctracting searching something to watch or maybe play on my cellphone.
