Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me remove a google blogspot! This guy stole my niche and put it all on his blogspot! Any help or tips on how I might be able to get it removed would be great!
Raise a DMCA complaint..wait stealing your niche or content? Well, everyone steal niche from others in the name of niche/keyword research. What exactly is the issue? Code: http://www.google.com/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=lr_dmca&product=blogger
LOL this is so easy... Spam the shit out of their blog with Scrapebox and watch them going down. I blasted one of my sites with SB to around 200k wordpress blogs and someone reported it as spam to my hosting. They took it down lol Live and breath Scrapebox!
He stole my niche and my content! I developed the software and he stole it along with my video all he did was slightly change the name! Thanks for the link.
hit vid-restart on rcon panel... other than that, if you're the developer and you can prove that, why don't you sue him because he stole your software?
^^ If you can get a hold of his information send him a cease and desist for copying the content and software. My 2cents.
1) You don't own the niche. You own the video and the software that you developed. But anyone else can come along and develop a software or create another video in your niche. They then become what is known as a 'Competitor', aka 'The Competition'. 2) If it is your video and/or your software, then just file a DMCA complaint with blogspot, they will help you out. There is this wonderful thing called 'Copyright Infringement'. As a developer, I would think that you would be intimately familiar with it.
File a complaint with BlogSpot. If that doesn't work you can consider using web-spam as a means to get BlogSpot to close their account.
I'm assuming he stole your content not your niche. English not your first language? I know hindsight s 20/20 vision but I am hoping that at least you had watermarked your videos and had explained in your video that your video should only be available at your blogspot address. And the software should have a link back to your blog in the software interface. If this is the case then let him do all your traffic generation for you! Google will know who posted the content first and after that you should make your case to DMCA like cyberzilla mentioned above.... I mean if he isn't generating good traffic for you
mate could you please blast my site with 200k links (or more if you want no pbl) I really want to see it go down down down?
Just inform him. you are the owner of the software & video, tell him to take it down or share revenue, Best way to deal with it.
If I got caught, I would feel guilty and take it down before it went further. It's worth confronting him and see if that takes care of it. Most people think they can get away with it, but will stop as soon as they find out they didn't. Other than that, blogspot should remove it if you file a complaint. You can also contact whoever is hosting the video (like youtube). Stealing your software is pretty messed up. Good luck on that one. Might always be a good idea to include some kind of attribution to you in your software at the least so you at least get credit.
Oh I wish I could! I tried contacting him, but he did not reply. So i was able to flag his video and get it removed!
