I grabbed the RSS feeds for the forums I'm interested in and put them into an RSS reader.
It's pretty efficient since I'm only really interested in the new threads that get created with new updates and ideas. Not really interested in threads with thousands of posts getting bumped by shitty low effort replies.

Being staff does take a little bit of the fun out of the site as we have duties to perform and limited time in general to check out a lot of the info shared.
