How do you put a price on a SubReddit?

I usually NEVER try to post something negative about a particular person here on BHW but people who have the audacity to disrespect a normal question and then still keep shittalking should be stopped.

Nobody will buy a sub, there is no reason to do so.

This is NOT an eligible answer to his question. We don't need forced toxicity here. Either leave a constructive reply or leave it alone.

I guess you're right, there's certainly no reason to buy a sub. Thanks for the insight.

How is DAU being measured for a sub?

This answer doesn't seem sarcastic or "triggered" at all if you view it from an understandable point. He is just trying to be nice and trying to end an unwanted conversation.

You seem to be triggered for whatever reason, reddit is a very community driven platform, a "buyer" would know that and without a community sub does not exist, so good luck trying to make an easy dollar.

At least this was a somewhat constructive answer but it still missed the point at the beginning and at the end. If you are such an wise old man who has been on the internet for a long time, you should've known when to stop and not keep interacting with this thread. You have brought close to no value to this.

It definitely is possible to sell a subreddit with 25.000 Members. I haven't done it personally but people I regularly talk with have done it and still do it regularly. It's not too much different than flipping legit websites.

Sorry to the OP that I can't give you an answer but I think @ChesterF answer seems to be spot on.

I answered his question, he didn't listen. Someone is more than welcome to prove me wrong by showing bank transfer information on a sale of a subreddit, otherwise it's all trash. Site flipping and selling a subreddit are very different.

I don't know how someone that clearly knows so little can be so sure of themselves.

Appreciated man. If it was a respected member that has experience with selling subs saying all of this I would have taken it as worth listening to. This has just been a moderately annoying joke though tbh.

....you provided a random screenshot about a mod removing themselves for a cryptocurrency address?

Once again missed the point entirely....

BANK.......TRANSFER....NOT STELLAR.....

no proof of funds being sent, I can sell you a million communities with 0 members, want a discount? Keep going though.

I've sold about 20 subreddits, half of them here in the BHW marketplace. The way I price them is by how much would I realistically pay for them if someone offered them to me. I've used Reddit every day for many years, so I can quickly price them according to the niche, how easy it will ti be to monetize them, the sub count, engagement and growth, not different than how you would price a Facebook group or page, Instagram or twitter account or youtube channel.

Wow I think it's FULL MOON guys and you have to chill. It's not the point to prove who is right or wrong. But to help each other!

How weird that some people think they have the right to try to make other people prove shit like this to them.. Who are you anyway? Some fucking random lurker who's having a bad day.

Look my advice if you're bored is do some sudoku or practice backflipping off the nearest bridge. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Comment like that COULD actually get you in a lot of legal trouble, so gg there.

Yeah so far I've only bought a few and been growing them over the last few months, but thinking of whether or not offloading any makes sense. The niche is pretty saturated but active as well. Thanks for the advice.

Appreciate the positive input.. I was hoping the thread would be about getting a bit of help, not so much this.

Troll someone else. F off.

Well once again, provided you input, you decided to ignore it, but I will hang out wherever I feel like it, thanks for telling what to do bby <3

I said I think it's full moon cuz I saw it outside it looked like it's full. And 2 days before full moon and 2 days after, werewolves appear (kidding) by spreading us negative energy all over. So we just have to calm down, chill and try to be positive as much as we can.

But full moon is on the 7th :(

You can sell subreddits and you never know the price that you might sell them. It's same like domains, IG pages, FB pages you have people that buy them in unbelieveble prices that you would have never think of. People have different ideas and different ways of monetizing!

Hi! Saw this comment. I'm looking to work with people who own subs to promo on their subs. I just need a mod "on payroll" to make sure my subtle promo doesn't get taken down. Please DM if you'd be open to working together (or can intro me to any mods who are). Ideally subs are non-NSFW, and my posts will be subtle ads for an app (think Temu) that I can easily tie in to the sub
