I know that the common answer to this question is, "Check Google Analytics." Other than checking your GA's stats, do you directly ask your audience (e.g. on your social media accounts) for their feedback about your latest blog?

You look at your competition and see how long there article is then you make sure yours is longer.

You use headers to break the article up and stick the header with keywords needed .

Keywords and longtail keywords must be mention once to get the article really optimised
I sugest in a h1 container and all long tail keywords in h2 container and others in a list fornat and others in a bold format.

Dont forget to save any article in the main keyword

Dont forget the more acute the info on your blog the more it postion correctly in google.

Try and study your niche bang on, and dont do any spelling mistakes , if need be point to wiki to understand big words to help the reader understand .

Hi, @redarrow. Thank you for your comment. Assuming you have already done all of that, how do you measure the effectiveness of that content strategy?

A/B test.... use a service like optimizely to try multiple versions of content and headings then only promote the winners.

Or to small batch runs of facebook sponsored stories on posts then only fully promote the winners.

I would ask your readers to add a comment if they appreciated your post. Its not exact, but usually people do respond to requests like these.

There no right or wrong way to write a article
You need to just write in a way that others can understand.

As long as your article is unique and not internet copyed and written in a way everybody understands , your on a win.

Format it as i advised that it.

If you want to go deeper then i suggest a writing course for blogs, i am sure there books on the subject aswell .

Video learning is the easy way to learn and succeed , below link is a example, remember you can get these course free in the members download section of this forum or ask for the course.

Example only....

Hi, @VijaySEO!

Ending my personal blog posts with an intriguing question is one of my strategies to "compel" my readers to comment. It works. :)

Hey @iPresenceBiz - You might find this list useful: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/encourage-blog-comments-tips/ - #2 is also a great idea - ask your readers to contribute an idea to your post - free content along with comments and feedback.

Hi, @VijaySEO. Thank you for reminding me about that link, mate. I stumbled upon that link in the past. Now I know where to find it again. Might as well bookmark this one. :)

Hi, @indutaurus. Thank you for your suggestion. There are readability checkers online. It's not my concern, actually. My writers and editors are on top of this requirement (to deliver readable content to our clients).

I guess you can measure it's effectiveness by the numbers of comments coming from your readers (good comments). It is effective when you help them answer their questions and give them additional knowledge. Whenever you satisfied your readers with your articles, they will thank you and surely ask for more. Then you can say that your content is effective.

I agree with you, @Trinity Smith. This is one of the reasons why we end our blog posts with a call-to-action (CTA) statement in an interrogative form.

You take a gander at your opposition and perceive to what extent there article is then you ensure yours is longer.

You utilize headers to split the article up and stick the header with catchphrases required .

Catchphrases and longtail watchwords must be specify once to get the article truly enhanced

I sugest in a h1 holder and all long tail catchphrases in h2 compartment and others in a rundown fornat and others in a striking configuration.

Dont neglect to spare any article in the principle watchword

Dont overlook the more intense the data on your blog the more it postion effectively in google.

Attempt and study your specialty strike into, and dont do any spelling botches , if need be indicate wiki to see huge words to help the peruser comprehend .

Modesty aside, did you use an article spinner for your response? :)

Based on social engagement it gets.

I would think placing a call to action in the article (shares, comments, etc..) and then measure views against taking the requested actions, actions not related to CTA (are people sharing, liking, commenting outside the specific CTA), duration of pageview against a reasonable measure (i.e. how long would it take a reasonable person to read it and complete the CTA), negative vs positive responses (dislike on YT, negative comments on blog), performance (views, duration, CTA metrics) versus other posts both on your own website and competitors. Those are just some thoughts - to an extent it would depend on the content and the audience but I would set up metrics with goals before the article launched and then track against goals. AA review would help me identify improvements for subsequent articles.

shares and comments on social media
clickthroughs
conversions

All of these can be measured.
