I cannot buy a .ca domain unless I live there and Im in US....

You should still be able to buy one and put in a dummy address. They have only in the past mailed me renewal notice in the mail.

Im not sure if a .ca is really that necessary, ive ranked countless .coms by just putting the word "canada" in the page titles.
