How do you manage your time/schedule?

8am - wake up
9am- deal with emails
10am- eat
11am- browse internet
12pm- work
7pm-eat
8pm-go to sleep

rinse and repeat!

I will wake up at 5 A.M. next month.

Whatever I do, I just can't seem to be able to wake up early. No matter how hard I try, I set 5-6 alarms and manage to shut them down and go back to sleep everytime. So I end up working late, till 5-6 A.M to recover the work I should've done in the morning.

For now it's a bit acceptable, but sticking to a schedule is also very necessary for success. I manage it poorly.

a lot of people can't wake up early. ronald reagan would wake up at 10am every morning. as long as you work hard it doesn't matter what time you wake up, just work later

I have a 27 hour day. Meaning that I stay awake for ~18 hours and sleep for ~9 hours every day. So the time I wake up each day is different.

Makes me feel so much more fresh, and I can get a ton of stuff done when nobody else is awake! And I can honestly say I haven't felt sleep deprived or tired in a long long time.

I manage a really dynamic schedule so nothing's really set in stone. I use Outlook which Syncs to my GNote. (Y)

I'm at the computer for most of the day so no point writing times down.

My biggest problem is trying to get some sort of structure to what I'm doing. I start on one website, maybe add new articles for that site, then try and improve seo, then taking new urls and adding to stumble, twitter etc. I then try to link diversify, and a bunch of other stuff. I end up getting caught up on that one website for ages, and barely leave time for the others.

I'm doing more or less everything by hand and it all takes so much time, i end up very frustrated. I'm needing to learn how to automate a lot of this, even creating web 2.0's with new profiles and new original articles, just seems to drain away the time. This isn't including spinning articles for directories, forum posting, and all other sorts of backlinks.

I also have a ton of other stuff unrelated to IM that needs done too, feels like I'm trudging along. I should be way past where I am if I could set things up and automate better.

C'mon guys, I know you guys have something to share!

i always start of slow and speed up later in the day to combat time wasting. i will not go to the computer until i have decided what i'm doing for the next two hours each step and each task. This has reduced my timewasting a great deal.

I would recommend looking at Eban Pagans "Wake up Productive" vids. Helped me a lot!

Well, I have seen your posts above....you guys lucky that you have a fixed time line...I am a chemist, work in a plant.......I have to attain atleast two 8 hours shift a week.........cant maintain such a complete time table......but rest of the 5 days I try to get up 5 o'clock at morn and 11 o,clock sleep time...............good luck to every one....

One tip I can offer you guys is .. Cold Showers!!

They are hard to get used to, and some people don't have the determination or balls to have them, but I guarantee if you wake up and go straight into a cold shower, you will be more productive! It doesn't matter if you only had 3 hours sleep, if you dive into an icy cold shower, you will wake the f**k up! haha

They make you feel 'alive' and ready to start your day! I have one every single morning, and I am healthier than I have ever been.

If you find yourself sluggish when you wake up, have a cold shower and it will increase your productivity, ten fold. Not to mention they have loads of other benefits too .. Google it :D

Huh i don't have any specific schedule, but usually it goes like this :

9 or 10 AM - Wake up

10 AM - 12 AM - Showering, make my self a tea and check emails, forums, cpa statistics, site rankings, reading news, all that with turned on music :)

! PM - 4 PM - Social time, friends, family, usually i spend that time in town.

4 PM - 5 PM - Usually lunch time

5 PM - 8 PM - Working on my projects

8 PM - 12 PM - Usually working but also watching tv with my family or friends, maybe going out and so.

1 AM - 6 AM - Hard working time, i enjoy working in the late night, early morning, it's quiet and nobody is disturbing me, i am most effective then :)

6 AM - 9/10 AM - Sleeping

Yeah i don't need much time for sleeping, 3 or 4 hours are just enough.
