How do you make thumbnails for YT videos?

I think AI can handle thumbnails pretty well, except when it comes to ones with detailed human figures, but aside from that, it’s fine.
 
I use tools like Adobe Express and canva. There are a lot of templates available. Also, you can save a lot of time with it.
 
Making thumbnails on your own is totally fine, but I’ve noticed that AI or a good designer can sometimes make them more eye-catching and get better clicks.
 
I just make them myself. Sometimes I’ll use AI for quick ideas, but I usually tweak them after, so they look how I want. If you’re not into AI, you can also try free tools like Canva. Another good trick is pulling a screenshot from your video and then adding bold text or a bright border so it pops more.
 
You can make it with canva, and there is also an AI that can do it but you will have to be very creative with your prompt

I create thumbnails myself, but some people hire designers. Using AI for thumbnails is becoming popular and can save time, but quality varies, so it depends on your needs.
 
I make my thumbnails on Canva.

I do it myself mostly because I want to control the style and content as I like. However, when the workload is large, I also hire freelancers to help with the design.
 
Canva has some dope presets.
 
Canva is what i use, It does everything i need -- i only do basic things.

I handle most of the creative work myself to maintain authentic control, but I occasionally collaborate with skilled freelancers for specialized tasks. Regarding thumbnails, AI tools can speed up the process and generate strong concepts, but I always fine-tune them manually to ensure they truly resonate with the target audience and align with the brand’s voice. Automation without human insight rarely achieves the best results.
