How do you like to create backlinks in 2017

Hi Everybody , I'm new here and i'm sure that most of you will tell me to just go on and read as much as i can on BHW and that the answer of this question is somewhere in the forum , but all i could find is methods that not everybody agrees on , and none of them were for a newbie.

So what is the best method to create backlins in 2017 ?

@mome Have you seen the replies. But i'm still puzzled with your question. Are you willing to follow a method or having a new idea to implement in the forum ?

Hi everybody , thank you all for your replies , I was concerned that the methods that I found on BHW were outdated I spend the whole day just reading , I got confused many times but I feel like I got it , I am a filmmaker and my website is not too difficult to rank so from what I understood I just need to start building links but carefully , I have some questions tho , What is best way to check your backlinks and to see if a domain has authority , I've used many tools but each time I get different results , Thanks to everybody once again and I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier I just wanted to reply after I had acquired some knowledge :D
 
The best tool for checking backlinks is Ahrefs. IMO the best tool for checking domain metrics in Majestic SEO.

You can try a tool to get backlinks as well. Method not new but quite trustworthy. After finding a set of backlinks you can narrow the list down by analyzing different factors that are being checked. The next step is to reach out to the potential linking websites. This kind of linkbuilding campaign can take some time but it's worth a try and not that complicated for a newbie. Good luck.

NOTE: You need to spend quite a bit of time on outreach for this to pan out

Do you use a BST for your bought links or just email site owners? I have a few sellers on my short list for a potential future project but I have a few other things to test first.
