How do you keep going? Seriously!?

Hola fellas,

Some of you might be going through the same shit that I am, and it's that I just can't find the courage to work more.
I tried working at night, working in the day, opening the curtains, stay in the dark, go to a work space, stay home, listening to loud music, listening to stupid motivation videos where the motivational music burries the motivational words... any change that comes to mind, I tried. Yet, I just can't get myself to get things done.. Luckily I'm still doing my job fine, or I would've lost that too

Quite a few projects that I stop working on right after buying the domain name, ideas I'm just not finding it in me to act on..

I'm too inside my head for some reason, and I'm here asking if any of you has been through this and got out of it somehow, please share your recipe; because I'm getting tired of this

Thanks
In my case I have a more or less similar problem that is activated when I see that I try, try and try and never get the things I do to bear fruit, and then I come to places like these and read stories of people who made a blog with 10 articles and in 6 months are already earning $3K+ a month or someone who made a single video on youtube that went viral and is making them thousands of dollars a month, just to give a couple of examples.

And in my case, the problem is not a lack of focus because I have put my heart and soul into projects that I have invested 10+ hours a day for 2+ years without achieving anything in return.

I think the problem is that not all people in this world are allowed to be successful and earn money and perhaps personally I am one of those people who that, to be successful and earn money, is not allowed.

Karma? I don't know, maybe ... who can affirm or deny it?

And this is something very difficult to understand by those for whom things work well, and who always believe that for whom things do not work is because they do not try hard enough, which is completely false.

Then, when you have been struggling for years and years and you don't manage to make your dreams come true, you start thinking about giving up everything, but you realize that you can't give up because there are expenses to pay and people who depend on you.

In short, I think I understand your situation although unfortunately I cannot write anything that is useful to you and that helps you improve.

In fact, I hope someone shares something that really helps to break the feeling that nothing ever goes right.

It is hard to continue without seeing some success. Try some small projects early , finish them and then you will be inspired for bigger ones.

If it is a lack of focus, try focusing on just one task. Multitasking is a myth. You can have things going on in the background but you can't act on everything on your mind at once. Choose one thing and work on that. If you get other ideas or inspirations, write them down to come back to later.

A journal or notebook can help with this also. You can keep short term and long term goals and tasks in the same place along with other lists or references. Then, when you feel at a loss of what to do, just open it and you have your overview of what you're working on.

Being stuck in the same place is always a problem. You need to go out for a few hours every day. Try working from the park if they are open. Or from the mall. I know the pandemic has made it hard for us all.

Maybe get an office at the business centre where you will have people walking around you and you won't feel like you're in a vacuum. Try having different rooms in your house for work and sleep if you don't want to be working from outside. Do most of your communications, chats and emails on the phone when you're outside. For me I've used to get dopamine boosts when I sign someone up when I'm walking around just on the phone. Used to love invoicing people from airports and find them to be paid when I land, much more than raising invoices from the office or home back in the good old days.

And if possible, travel to wherever is open right now and spend a few days, hop over to another place from there and don't come back home directly. Go on a quick adventure, if there is hiking or scuba diving, go do it. Basically when you do the same thing over and over again and feel stuck in the same place, your brain doesn't feel rewarded and your productivity will keep going down. So keep doing all that it takes to have that dopamine boost once or twice a day. You don't have to do cocaine or meth, all you need is to have fun, make what you do fun and you will be happy.

Hit the gym and socialize with more people
Get a pet.
Once you get used to it, it takes less effort to do things that suck.

Because you are fcking spoiled.
Corrrect.
There are people who will shred a lion in pieces just to get a chance to change their lives , but yet you stay wake having tiktok stupid sounds on your head.

It happened with me but the key is to take small break, start doing again and push yourself to the limit instead of thinking about the things which you should have done. The biggest drawback in online business is that unlike traditional business, we don't connect with the people face to face, we work like a machine day and night and that makes our life tedious and monotonous.

Agree, I am a bit spoiled, more like too comfortable which makes it worse.. just hoping the answer isnt having to lose everything just so I can do shit.

No not on tiktok, never watch it, unless gf sends me a video

This is all bullshit. You need a 6 fig business. Nothing else.

There is some cool content on tik tok too. It's stupid anyways.

I have to remind myself you have only one life make it count

Sometimes it pays to work with a trusted team to help you stay on track and keep you accountable.

I think the trouble is you think you have more time than you actually do.

I had that problem and it made me waste some time in my 20s. Now I'm doing at 30 what I could have done at 21, and let me tell you every year I feel a lil regret at not having utilized my time better earlier in life.

Think about it like this: if you continue behaving as you are now, what's your life going to look like in 20 years? That's the default outcome - - things won't magically get better. Failure is the default outcome unless you take action to change it.

personally the biggest mistake I did was to wanting to go full IM...

Without a stable source of income on the side and having the money factor always in your head, you develop an absolutely unhealthy way to see at your business if it is not stable in the first place.

I would advise everyone to not quit their job or try to go full IM without a stable income in the first place.

Also being on your business 24h a day 7 days a week is killing you and your productivity...

So why you don't just tell us to freelance and instead talk about so-called secure jobs? Is your boss telling you fairy tales about his superiority?
