Ahhh ok, yea I agree. But you can also look at it as people with money want perfection and nothing is perfection. They will be stingy and treat you like crap because they work hard for money. (Not all, but some of the people i have dealt with in the past act this way). I agree though, not everyone is like this. I was just mentioning my personal experience.

Not sure what she was getting for $130 but it shouldn't have been much.
I have clients that want to write their own content and I actually prefer it that way. They are the experts and I prefer to have their view on the topic, rather than outsourcing it. I tell them straight up that I will need to modify the content they submit by adding keywords, titles and likely more in-depth content, in order to help it rank and bring traffic to the page. Some do a good job and others end up paying me more to modify their content than if they would have just let me hire someone to write it. But in the end, they are happy that they contributed to their websites. Occasionally, there will be that one client that wants the content to be published as they wrote it and it's terrible. I do what they pay me to do and tell them I can not guarantee it will rank. If this continues I discontinue offering them my service.

Fair enough, but a client being wealthy isn't a reason to treat them better than your working-class clients.
For anyone who is even remotely competent at SEO, there's no shortage of work to be found. Why put up with any bad clients at all when there's so many good clients out there?
I agree completely. But not everyone can just blow off every lead they get. Sometimes, people who are just starting will tend to work with ANY client.

No disagreement here.
But keep in mind that this whole comment chain started with 'Keep them happy and the reward will increase', which I have not found to be true with any type of client. And the reality is that some clients cannot be made happy at all, in which case it's often necessary to fire them in order to keep an acceptable level of service for the remaining clients.

Why lol? Not everyone lives in a 1st world country. The average monthly wage in India is like $250 USD a month or less. In Bangladesh, less than $150 USD. Even if you do live in a 1st world country, $130 is like 6 hours of average employment wage. 30 minutes for consulting, 2 hours a week of casual work, why not? It's money. You are too rich to accept money? Nice live you live. For a guy named Ankur Patel, I would guess you are from East Asia, and you should be aware of the economic conditions of that region. I live in Canada, I will accept a client for $5 under the right conditions, because it's money. I spend 30 hours a week watching porno. I could easily do something more productive with my time.

Still LOL even u not in 1st world countries. Real SEO is not cheap and is an on going long term investment to see result. A piece of good content can costs anywhere higher than $130.

If I need the money at the time, suck it up and keep pushing forward.
If the money is causing me too much stress, kick them to the curb, politely. But tell them why. Within a few months some will come running back once they start dealing with shitty services and then you have the upper hand.

You are acting like you need to provide everything to outrank Google for the keyword "Search Engine" with every "real SEO" offering. SEO can be a lot of different things, including just reviewing a website and advising the client of a link building and/or on-site SEO strategy that will help their search engine appearance. It can be setting up YOAST for them and educating them on how to use it. A piece of good content can cost $5 or $500,000, so what is your point? SEO doesn't mean providing original content to clients, it doesn't mean guaranteeing results. So I LOL at you guys, who are showing me you don't know what you are talking about.
It's like saying "LOL a doctor took a patient for $100? A single surgery can cost $400,000." Yeah, but just because some part of a doctor's position can cost a lot of money, doesn't mean they turn away patients for $100. That client can turn in to a bigger client, that client can recommend you to others, that job can be added to your portfolio, that job can help you get professional experience, that job can fill your down time and slow periods.
If you guys live such amazing lives that you wipe your ass with $130, good on you, but 95% of the world is not too good to pass up $130.

the problem isn't with your rating the problem is from your client itself
a client will look after you and searching on the web for stuff that u provide already that means something not right with your delivery or they expected something different from you
there r always factors that u need to look for before you sign a contract with a client
if they negotiating too much
if they underestimated you from the first meeting
if they say your fees r too expensive
if they show that they r as experienced as you and they don't have time to run the project that's why they hire u ..
