How do you get customers as a reseller?

Well I'm trying to resell dedicated servers, I bought one recently at $30 and trying to sell at $40 monthly, I've made website, posted in different forums and even in Facebook groups and no matter what, no one is interested or even contact me about my product

People say reselling gives good profit, but all I've done now is losing money and time, I am so tilted because I've wasted money for nothing apparently.

Servers and Hosting Niche are already so Competitive,Why do you think someone will buy from an Individual with a Website?

Big Companies are not Noobs trying to Run Heavy Advertisements wherever and whenever possible,Even they know it's hell in the Hosting Industry.

In my opinion you have to see all the possibilities

Marketing is the key of business (no s#$t sherlock), and maybe some bigger companies are getting more attention than you

Maybe your price is not competitive too...

Depends on your business model and the market you can reach. What added value do you bring that makes it worth paying you $40 for something they can get for $30 like you did?

There are a few options.

One way is to buy something and sell to multiple customers at a lower price. So you buy a dedicated server for $30/month then split it up and resell as 50 shared servers $10/m. So you have 50 users on your dedicated server paying a total of $500/m.

Or add value to your dedicated server with preinstalled software, easier to use interface, tech services, etc.

Or sell into a market that doesn't have access to the original service or sell to a non-tech/non-marketing market that doesn't know how to find a similar/same service.

But I will say this, that reselling something you have no control over is a slippery slope.

That Dedi goes down and you cannot get a hold of the person you bought from your reputation will take a hit.

What you guys are saying doesn't make sense to me, I literally see other big companies reselling their servers from the one I am reselling too and they still somehow have a decent amount of customers that buy from them instead from the cheaper place. I refuse to believe The MarkeT iS sAtUrAtEd

You can do what 1000 people do on upwork post an ad you will pay 10% of your sale when someone brings a customer. I see it every day looking for commision only sales people. Find a sucker who will do all the work for you and you keep 90%. Not sure who falls for it but I get 10 pitches like that per day to be a stupid sucker. Maybe there are rally out there and you can get a few to work for you for free and give you 90% of the profit?
