Hello Fellow members,

How are you all in this epidemic?

How do you find expired domains without an expensive subscription?

I am using the Ahref method which is used by many but it is slow and time-consuming.

if you guys are using any great method, pl. let me know.

Thank you in advance.

I'm using experiddomains dot net. It's free and when you use it make sure to use the filter. For me and my needs this site is just enough.

If I'm looking for a domain name in a niche that isn't too competitive, I use expireddomains.net.

If I'm looking for quality without having to make the search myself and I have the budget for it, I work with a guy named Kalin who runs a company named SEO.domains (where all they do is sell expired domains for SEO's like us). You have to remember that the good domains are already taken in the big niches.

use expireddomains they had great deals on expired ranked domains.

I usually just run an expired domain finder until it finds something usable

Thank you for the valuable inputs...

Plenty of ways to get them. Besides using Ahrefs method, you can always get a Domain Hunter Gatherer subscription, there are plenty of deals running as I am writing this.

Then there's of course expireddomains.net or you can get lists of entire domains registered in a particular year. That however can get expensive to filter. Or you can always buy them from people like me (shill).

Plenty of ways to get them, but that's the easiest part. Evaluating them and checking their history is where the work and experience comes in.

Obviously as @Nargil has suggested having a subs in Domain Hunter Gatherer is the best, but not cheap and you will not only need the subscription but credits for checking metrics, which could go extremely wild in terms of cost (although they give away a massive amount of credits to kick start your project, which is like a 50% discount straight away)

My advice:
If you are not a long time player in this and just want a couple of domains to start a PBN, you can try a service with crawler like domcop ($198/mo 10 crawlers for 1 month). You can go wild with it without the extra cost of domain metrics. You may like this or dislike it. Then you will have a better opinion on how to proceed.
Also another option is buying Scrapebox with the expired domain plugin, which is very cheap, and can let you start crawling by yourself but similarly to DHG, you will have to pay also for checking metrics.

Personally I'm not a big fan of expireddomains except for certain TLD that DHG can't crawl (due to region restrictions).

I've found a few gold nuggets using ahrefs looking for bad links in competitor sites.

Ahrefs or Scrapebox can be useful for you. As mentioned above "If you are new in this field" please don't even bother. Better check the marketplace & buy from there.

I only use expireddomains.net but if u have some knowledge in making bots u can make a bot that help u find what u want.

Just buy it from trusted sellers, it’ll save you much more time and money. Most of time spending on checking the domains are not worth it.

Thank you for the wonderful response.

just tried experiddomains dot net and found a couple of good domains which is nearer to my niche...
