I’m curious what factors everyone here prioritizes when evaluating a guest post opportunity.
Do you mainly look at DR/DA, organic traffic, topical relevance, referring domains, outbound links, or something else?
I’m particularly interested in how experienced SEOs filter out sites that look good on metrics but have little real value.

I mainly check DA/PA for guest posting because domain authority and page authority is what is important for guest posting.

now, the emphasis would be laid on organic traffic rather than domain authority or domain rating. see if there is any irregularity in traffic, no of indexed pages, and irrelevant content on the site.

for me i focus on everything you listed and i always find for bad review too but if everything is too perfect i get suspicious and might not even get it because no business can be perfect

look traffic and topical relevance before worrying too much also check sites ranking keywords the quality content and how many outbound links they have.

organic traffic nd content relevance is what I value more than DR/DA. the ranking keywords, traffic flow nd outbound link from the site are also going to be taken into account.

Many years ago I use to see when the latest post of the guest post website has been cached and indexed by Google. Then the main part is DA/DR. Always check the domain authority and topic, niche related to your website. Refrain posting in unwanted guest post websites which will affect you in long run. Refrain paid tactics for getting the guest posts live. In current situation outreach is what you can follow to get good niche edits and guest posts.

I’d check organic traffic and topical relevance first, then look at referring domains and outbound links. DR/DA is useful for comparison, but a clean link profile and real traffic matter more.
