Look into what huge sites pay to keep themselves online. You dont think BHW runs on shared hosting or even a VPS right? As I recall the guy who runs DP wrote a blog post a couple years ago detailing what it takes to keep them online I am sure BHW is no different.

I actually would like an answer to this if Wizgizmo can ask DD to come share his hosting costs with us? I think lots of BHW users would be surprised at the expenses of keeping us chatting.

Big sites get BIG deals, since bandwidth is "baked air" as we call it over here. When something is sold for a lot, it doesn't mean that it actually costs a lot.

And the costs may be so high on paper, no way that this amount is actually paid, unless it's for beneficial purposes (taxes etc.)
