How do programmers stay Awake

Yeah, the normalization of drugging every issue is completely out of hand these days. All druggies personally identify with their usage and push it on others as actual solutions to issues.

But hey, why work on your posture, if you can get a chiropractor once a week to relief the build up tension and potentially pain?

For me, this conversations ends here. Done too many druggie talks. You can smoke or shoot up, I don't care, to me it's the same as a drink or whatever, but just stop being so pretentious about it. Thanks. over and and out.
No way. Just a suggestion to do it if the insomnia problem is mental health related. No way I would recommend it to a healthy person. Drugs aren't candy.

Healthy people should just do diet and exercise and sex to sleep better.

Cbd is a supplement, not a psychoactive drug. Supplements aren't drugs in my opinion.

It's not a joke. I used to know one cocaine powered coder. They can do 20 hours if the stuff is the real deal. Don't ask me how I know...

But then it goes out of hand and it starts to happen every week. Half the payment goes to illicit drugs dealer. Do you really want to pay that high price to code all day and night? I doubt it.

If you need to, take it as an experiment... Don't repeat.

coffee.. rofl -- AND BARRY BONDS ONLY LIFTED WEIGHTS AND TOOK EXTRA BATTING PRACTICE, TOO!!

Don't do that
You need to sleep...it's best work healthly than work like a zombie, it's more likely to make mistakes and decrease your productivity
Exactly this. As a professional developer, i honestly don't understand those "long coding marathons" thing. It's counterproductive at the very least. I think it's better to keep a nice work schedule and take care of our sleep hygiene.

1. Don't sleep. Talk to friends. Drink. Talk to friends about projects at work. Drink. Drink some more. Tell them how much you would love to show them your work. Start coding to show them your skills. Drink more. Dance a little bit. Think of an algorithm while dancing. Tell someone you see the solution in their eyes. Drink more. Repeat for hours or days.
2. Wake up at 3 pm after going to sleep at 6 am.
3. Thank me later.

How do programmers stay awake, especially throughout the midnight, spending 22hours or almost the whole 24hours active on pc, without falling asleep. Any thing to do, use or drink inorder to stay awake.thanks
It just happens automatically ‍♂️

I can't speak for others, but I am the most capable when I get enough sleep and during morning. The later it gets, the less productive I am.

So I usually sleep at least 8 hours, then get up 5am, drink at least 1l of water, then drink coffee and start working right away. First meal at 12pm. Taking a break for one hour. Then start working again, until I feel my productivity is getting less. Then, I make a checklist of what needs to be done the next day. Plan the work, work the plan.

And by productivity I mean, I am not looking at my phone at all, I am not getting any distraction, I just get shit done as fast and efficient as possible.

Even if you are awake 22 hours and try to work, how many hours do you effectively spend working?

Believe me, they don't like it, but when they sit down to solve a problem or plugin, they cannot sleep without a solve it or they will dream about it and suffer from insomnia. The best moment of the day, when I encounter a problem and solve it, is the best sleep.

What's your youtube with your full morning routine?

Personally: If you're stuck, it doesn't help to "try harder". I know this myself. I sit 3 hours brooding over a problem and get nowhere, then give up for the day, sleep, have breakfast, and go back to it well rested and saturated, and guess what? I find the solution within 15 minutes.

If you're stuck, take a break. Work smarter, not harder.

That's a sign of bad relationship with work and yourself. Poooooor mindset.

How in the hell is gonna execution of code gonna help?? It won't. Nobody needed that code since the universe has started but now it will matter? Doubt

Anything that has to be executed quickly is done via normal software that you buy. Not custom code and projects!!

Go to gym instead of finishing that function. You'll have healthier body and fun instead of bullshit 3 lines written forcefully.

I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches.I can do a thousand now. After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond bodyscrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque,
which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

There is an idea of a Nakamura. Some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me. Only an entity– something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze…and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours…and maybe you can even sense our life styles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

Does it help with coding?
