How many of you work from home and who is renting an office?
My biggest problem is that I'm working from home. It really pisses me off that Friends always think working from home means being home and playing PS3 the whole day.
When they get home from their Jobs they spend their sparetime at home.
For us being home means working.
Many many times Friends used to call me when they had a day off from work, so they could come around.

I was chatting to by brother in law about SEO and some of my clients. At the time he had business selling car valet cleaning products, which he was essentially getting drop shipped from the manufacturer.
I could have smashed him on the first page for various related search terms. When I suggested we cut a deal. He turned round all serious and said "Yeah but most of what you do online is just bullshit and smoke and mirrors."
I sat back and watched his business go down the tubes. .

A lot of people who ask me what i do has no effing idea, one time a bank teller ask me how come i am receiving checks from US companies so i told them im doing internet marketing and she has no clue about it, so i just asked her if she has a facebook account and if she noticed the ads on the right side and that that's what i do, i think its the simplest way to explain.

That's the exact words my parents said to me about a week ago.
I made a few bucks with a friend, and I'm just getting into IM properly now.

I started out saying "I make websites" but then everybody started saying "Oh, I need a website, could I hire you to make one for me?" I need customers like I need a second anus (Hmmm... actually, 1/2 as much time on the toilet means more time for other activities...).
So then I switched to "Internet marketing" and say it in a way that doesn't invite questions.
I don't ever talk about money. It's gauche.
