There's a few ways you could generate some money from Twitch
- Donations (This might be where you'll make the most, depending on how generous your viewers are)
- Subscribers (Twitch takes a $1 cut before giving you your money. So you'll be making $4/month per sub. A nice passive income if you keep your viewers coming back, and give them an incentive to keep subbing. Giveaways, games with you, etc.)
- Sponsorship (Many companies would be willing give you gear to make sure you're taken care of. Of course you'd have to advertise them, and have a fairly good amount of viewers. Depending on the company of course.)
- G2A (If you've lurked around on BHW I'm sure you know what G2A is. If not, you can send your viewers to an affiliate link and if they purchase a game you get a small commission. It's a very reliable site.)
- Shoutouts (You could sell some shoutouts to lesser known streamers to help them get better known.)
- Amazon Affiliate (In your bio when you list your specs if you plan on streaming on PC, link each part to your amazon affiliate links. Your motherboard, processor, video card, power supply, etc. List everything and link them to the part via your link.)
- YouTube (Record your streams, if you did something cool edit a highlight clip and put it on YouTube. Monetize the videos with Adsense. Note* if you stream with music make sure they are not copyrighted in the highlight section of your video, or this could ruin your account.
There are many more ways for you to make some money with streaming on Twitch. But streaming can take a VERY long time. I'm not streamer, but I have many friends who stream, and am a constant viewer on Twitch. Everybody wants to make money playing Games. So you better be unique, or offer something that not many others have to offer. Or take the easy route: Pay for a view bot so you instantly climb to the top of whatever game you're playing. Use some knowledge from BHW to spam game forums with your stream link, spamming youtube vids, etc.
