How do people make 6 figures on instagram?

i am pretty sure some people are making real money, i mean real 6 figure.

Its definitely not about how many followers you have. Its more about creativity and execution. If you have laser targeted followers, you can make decent paper with less than 100k. I know a guy with about 100k and he did 1.2m sales in 2015

Not trying to be rude or mean, just telling the facts.

The few people that are making 6 figures (and it's pretty much $100k and not $999k) are basically famous people...mostly actors/singers/athletes that are famous already. And a few of these "fitness models" I know ex boyfriend of jenselter and he said she doesn't make 100k off instagram posts. mostly club appearances and her own "training guide" that gets her to 100k.

it shouldnt be too early to moneytize. after all, the goal is to make money. gaining followers is not a real goal. it seems easy to forget that. how to moneytize is a question you should ask yourself, and its a pretty damn hard question for me.
