How do people make 6 figures on instagram?

Is it the same for other accounts within your niche having the similar followers? 1100 likes is pretty low engagement.

They found what works for them.i am also growing my accounts and have no plan jet how i will monetize them ... there are always people earning somewhere ...

$40k with 2.5m followers :)

the thread talks about 6 figure. i am pretty sure 40k is not 6 figure lol.
btw, after all this time, you only have 2500 followers for each of your 1000 accounts?

although i still dont know what 6 figure is. to me, 100k is not much, 1M is very good.

one 1 engagement is not bad .......

The same noob...
40k aren't 6 figures, but nobody answered to his question. So I told him how much I made with how many followers, so he can make an idea.

I dont agree. If he has 20k followers and 1k likes - that is 5% engagement. And that is excellent. Average on IG is way below 3%, google it. And I can tell you first hand - 3% is an awesome number as well.

Hi, I bring 400-500 engagement with ~4k followers, with increasing my followers upto 20k I think the engagement will easily be more than 1k. However, I did checked engagement within my niche again, this is a high following sort of account: https://www.instagram.com/tinkerbellethedog/ and the engagement seems pretty low in these cases.

I also checked a ~17k account, the engagement was extremely low ~200-400 per photo. Do you think my engagement will fall after I get to 20k followers?

Thanks for point that out, I needed to check that hard statistics. :)

Why would your engagement decline... just keep doing what your doing. When I got my account to 20k my likes per picture was about 1-2k for the 1st hr.

I usually engage with my followers at a more personal level. After the number increases to a high end, I may not be able to have the same level of interaction as I currently do. I even remember most of them with their usernames.

What do you guys do when your followers increases more than 20k? How do you interact with them?

Sorry but you're not going to make 6 figures ($100k-$999K) on instagram by just promoting other people/things.

Maybe 1-2 people in the world (if any) are making 6 figures doing that.

Not trying to be rude or mean, just telling the facts.

The few people that are making 6 figures (and it's pretty much $100k and not $999k) are basically famous people...mostly actors/singers/athletes that are famous already. And a few of these "fitness models" I know ex boyfriend of jenselter and he said she doesn't make 100k off instagram posts. mostly club appearances and her own "training guide" that gets her to 100k.

how do you come to the conclusion?
last time i checked i made $2500 last week, and have been making $1500 a week for a few months. $2500x52 comes out just over 100k, if it lasts.
i am definitely not famous (60 facebook friends).

i am pretty sure some people are making real money, i mean real 6 figure.

it's going to take some serious thinking, and i havent found the answer yet.

This ^^

I personally know many people, myself included that fit the bill. These are people who have a total following of at least 1m, are in a good niche like fitness, fashion, or travel. and hustle hard. They have monthly shoutout contracts with major brands.

They also are members of sites like https://www.igshoutouts.com/, where they can sell promos to major brands :)

Amazing share! never heard of that website before but I can imagine it's going to come in handy :)

The recipe of big money in traffic monetization is like that: considerable traffic volumes + relevant niche + reliable partners who buy your traffic

Sorry buddy, but you have NO Idea what you're talking about but you're spreading it like it's facts. "Just telling the facts." Lol, what kind of facts are those? I know someone who makes $10k a day off of Instagram and he has about 2m followers. He's not a celebrity. Just a hustler.
