When I lose on league of legends I bang my head twice on the wall hard. I think if I hit 3rd time I will go to a better place.

For real..
Or when I get bans for months because internet disconnects.

It's possible. Addiction is a strong thing. I saw people ignoring many basic things for World of Warcraft.

Easy, when you sit three days straight playing games you will die.

people do not really die from gaming but it can be the consequence for death like you may have poor health condition already and when you play game 24-7 without caring about your health then you may die. Also, people may kill themselves as they can't handle the pressure of game but its very rare and this incident happened in Nepal not long ago while playing pubg.

Most of them don't eat or sleep for days, their bodies just wait to be shut down. Heart attack, lung disease, blood clot,... become much more lethal when you're exhausted. That's what I've read, I'm no doctor.

I never had that till I played that fucking TFT, worst game mode ever!

joke: you need gamer brain surgery and scientists see how they die suddenly
( brain scan fMRI...)

This post scares me. I’m always exhausted. :(

I guess "dying from gaming" stories are mostly, if not entirely bullshit.

I remember I read that there was a sensationalist story about a teenage guy dying from gaming. But basically he died because he had a broken leg and he had a unattached thromb forming in his leg that killed him or something like that. This medical condition (whatever that was) was more likely to happen in the lack of physical activity. He played computer games so journalists spin the story to make it sound like computer games killed him. But he could as well sit home and read books with the same outcome.

In 2000s, when computer usage was not yet that widespread, newspapers wrote about people dying from gaming because their brains was destroyed because of radiation from computer screen, lol. My parents tried to scare me with such articles to make me play computer games less, so I remember this.

And I don't think you can die from sleep deprivation because you are playing games. To die from even COMPLETE sleep deprivation takes really long time - monthes, weeks at least. You will just fall asleep with your mug on the keyboard while playing in the first 24 hours (happened to me).

I don't think there's anything directly related to gaming specifically that'll end in bodily harm. It's usually the individual's unique interaction with specific situations i.e. raging because of a game and then making irrational decisions that could cause physical bodily harm.
