How do I stop google from tracking me?

Hey, whenever I search something in google, it shows my location at the bottom. I do have "Location" blocked in "Content Settings" in chrome but still, it shows my location.

How do I stop it?

Your IP usually shows your location, unless you are in Indonesia, where you can connect from Pekanbaru and assigned IP from Banda Aceh.

But yeah. Country is 90% correct. They should have general idea of where you are. Disabling location services only prevents it to pinpoint you.

Use VPN, and firefox instead of chrome.
Still afraid? Use Tor. In very simple terms, Tor is VPN that connects to another VPN that connects to another VPN, VPNception that the last VPN don't know what is your real IP, it only knows the server that connects to it.
Downsides? It is slow. Like REALLY slow. Also no javascript, because it can show your location. That also means no fancy websites, most web will be broken, unless it has some failover. Also you will most likely be blocked from searching, etc etc, or will meet captcha every time you do something.

Or use DuckDuckGo that didn't track you.
Or probably accept it because nothing will change anyway.
 
That usually changes when using a proxy to browse

it always do even in incognito. the best way is to use proxy or vpn. alternately you can change in search settings but you need to do this every time.
 
I don't really know why you would do that? Do you have something to hide?

So, none of you use Chrome? What browser do you use?

Which is smooth like Chrome?
 
Let me give you step by step guide :cool::-
1. Install Firefox or Epic Browser (if you LOVEEE chrome).
2. Change search engine to duckduckgo.
3. Install Https everywhere and Noscript AND a VPN.
4. Use a Trackers Blocker(in-built in firefox)

Go "live life without GOOGLE":p
P.S. Change Your fucking DNS.
