How do I retrieve a file sent via skype?

I made a mistake getting files sent via skype instead of email about 1 month ago, as I just realised that skype only keeps 30 day logs of the chat on the app itself..

Now I lost the files which I initially downloaded on my PC..

Anyone know how to retrieve these from Skype? Couldn't find shit online..

Go to setting and see which is your default folder for skype files, it should be there

Seems like it wasn't saved on my pc as I was alternating use of Skype between my pc and mobile app, so that didn't work but thanks
