How do I push blog posts to social networking sites automatically?

Hey guys,

I am a flaming newb at all of this. I have a service providing website. I'll be maintaining a blog because "content is king" and its the only way to get ranked high with my keywords. I'm curious though, if I'm using drupal what are some good methods to push my articles to my facebook fan page, twitter, digg, stumble, ect?

Also, what social networking / news sites should I focus on? My demograph is males 18-35. No its not porn related...

With social you can push using RSS feeds. There are a variety of sites out there. You should look into something like su.pr, it can come in handy!

I just started testing Hellotxt - it's like ping.fm, it takes your rss feed and publishes it to 20 or so sites. I would recommend you get all hellotxt accounts created on Fiverr. It was worth the $5 to get all the accounts created and verified. But it will be up to you to go to each site and customize it and make it look nice (if you care to).

Add your rss feed to ping.fm, create accounts for social networks where you are not already a member, each time you add a post it will visible on all your personal accounts. It will take you time to create all those accounts but there's a BST thread where you can buy this.
Ping.fm contains 30 social networks whereas HelloTxt.com contains more then 60.

So I guess I'm still slightly confused... What's the point of all of this? Don't I need to have followers like twitter before anyone sees anything of mine? Seems like a shit ton of work to get followers on all these social networks... Any tips?

You are getting links and if you provide quality content then having no followers will not matter as people will naturally find you

Onlywire has a plug in for this as well... they used to have a free version but I believe they are all paid versions.
