As of yesterday most of my keywords dropped in the serps significantly. Some of the keywords from my authority site dropped 10,15 even 50 places. But some of them stayed the same.

search in google
site:http://yoursite.com
if you see your site link in searches then you r not..

Not DEINDEXED - penalized.

If your keywords dropped by exactly 50 positions, that is the -50 penalty.

Something is off in your onpage; perhaps too much keyword density, search terms 2 plugin, etc.

If you have a google webmaster tools account, check for a message there. You many not receive a message right away. It took about week for me to receive my message. Others have said they received a month after they got penalized.

Have you made any on page changes recently?

How long had you been stable at the previous rankings?

No, not any big changes (switched ad types - from text to link)
for one of my keywords i've been at #4 for about 6 months
2nd keyword- fluctuating between #15 and #6 for about 2 months
the other keywords were on the first page for about 5-6 months

And I didn't receive any message

Edit:I did add an addon domain to my hosting plan, but I don't think that should be a problem

It's tough to say without seeing the site, the link profile, etc...

To me personally, it doesn't sound like a penalty since the drop in rankings wasn't consistent. Does your rank tracking tool show you the URL that was found?

You mean my URL's???

my homepage was #7 for my main keyword - now 210
some of the inner pages were:
#4 - now 20+
#6 - now around 50

But the strange thing is that some of the pages are still ranking high.Their position hasn't changed (yet...)

probably slapped by the new panda update. actually i have an experiment on going, and if it will be successful, (Actually successful to the 2 out of 3 sites), it would be one of the greatest solution for the sites that have been hit by panda.

All my 3 sites are in #1 in the primary keywords but after the panda it was been pushed to page 8-7-9, but when I apply a method on the 3 sites, only 2 got back to #1. The remaining site is in the #6 spot

Usually, a simple test to see if your site has been penalized is if you don't rank #1 even for your own domain name in G.

No, Im still No 1 :D

Could all of this be G dance? Recently I got some backlinks from blog posts

Yeah I meant, are the URLs the same as before the rankings dropped? Sometimes I've seen strange drops like this for client's sites and after more investigation, the original ranking page had accidentally been blocked or restricted by the server and/or developer.

Just wanted to make sure your URLs were still crawlable.

Again it's really tough to speculate without knowing much about the site. I wish I could give you something solid to go on, but it could be a number of things.

If these were your main pages that dropped, you probably built more links to those pages, right? Some of your links may have been devalued, causing the drop.

I'm not sold on the Panda slap either, but it's possible. Seems odd that it would take so much longer for the Panda flux to affect your site compared to everyone else though. You said this just happened yesterday so... it seems unlikely to me that it's Panda related.

Hopefully your rankings come back soon.

It's probably just a Google dance, I wouldn't worry too much. As long as the site is still indexed you're good to go.

What scares me actually is a thing i read somewhere, that one you're penalized you can't climb back. And I invested a LOT of time and money in this site

You read lies... you can get your rankings back if you are penalized... it is not as easy as ranking to start off but certainly it is doable.

Are you gonna share what that is???????

of course, I have a thread. but its currently on progress so it would take some time before I share the method so that I can also prove that it really works.

Matt Cutts says that Google doesn't give penalties. They do shut some sites down.
