How do I index 301's?

So I recently acquired a domain which I now 301 redirect to my money site.

I know the links should show up in "External links" in the money-sites GSC.

Is there anything I need to do in order for Google to see my 301 redirect? Add the 301 domain to GSC perhaps?

google doesnt show all links, so it might never appear there even when google has it in its database.
 
you can but you dont have to.
 
No you don't need to set 301 redirect in Search Console. HTTP/HTTP answer is enough. That's the first thing Google Bot see. 301 answer actually is saying to bot, that your page is relocated on this you new url (FOREVER).
