hey BHW'ers

i have several music video's with over 80,000 views
i have submitted my link as a download link but the click rate is very, very poor
how do i get people to click my link in the description?

the music vids are from lil wayne.
could i just make a annotation in the vid saying click here? i have tried some things out but i had bad luck so far.

i hope one of you knows a nice little way to let people click the links!

thanks:D

the annotation seems fine or put in title "+download link" or something..

Make sure you put the link as the very first thing in description so it doesn't get cut off. Then say something like: click here to download this track for free!

You can also try putting some unicode special characters around the url to make it stand out on the page more.

Ok an annotation link can only link within youtube so no, you can't create an annotation that if clicked leads to download link, if thats what you were saying.

There are a few small changes that will help:

Put the link before all text in the description box.

Make a speech bubble with no link that says download song by clicking link below.

At the end of the music video, keep it going and have about 15-30 seconds of nothing but the link on the screen. This way they are forced to consider the link.

Also, if the link is complicated which it probobly is, use a url shortener like bit.ly so you can make a link like bit.ly/(your music video name)

Good Luck.
