I got a nice tech website, and I want that site to be talked about on those tech blogs, the big ones and the small ones. I am not looking for guest posting for SEO purposes. I am looking to get real humans to read the posts and come over to my site and convert. Any ideas? I am sure such a thing would be of interest to many more on the forum. Lets discuss possibilities.

How about promoting your content on social media channels and driving visitors from it? Did you try?

Being talked about by a reputed blogger is still a big deal for some people, I would like to explore ways to get into popular blogs. Social Media channels is an entirely different thing.

Can i suggest reaching out to big blog owners with a fresh good article you wrote and see if they would post a version but credit your site as source?

Hi buddy,

So, as you said you wanted to get popular on these tech biggies…
Like everyone here on BHW says "get quality content", So which means :-
Get some good “how to” tips.
Give some honest, out of the way, funny reviews.
V-log is now a days trending.
Get some simple daily hacks for common people.
The most important thing this should be written by some really passionate Tech blogger.

Now lets get some attention of these biggies…

GIVEAWAY on their sites which they would allow you to add an Image which says for more giveaways visit to (Your-site). This is actually a very good deal. You promote your website on some big blog, people share the giveaway page as the rule for applying for the giveaway and see your small ad which features your website.

Now why giveaway and not guest-blogging because giveaway would be actually seen on their Home page and the people who would be sharing it would lead you to an organic traffic and an audience which is streamlined to your niche specifically. And for guest posting, you would have to spend $500-$1000 while a $250 product giveaway would get you more organic traffic.

From past blogging experience, one thing that makes people talk about you is controversial topics. You run a tech blog, so I'm not quite sure what kind of posts you make but an example could be talking about the first "Human head transplant to a body" that's being done in December(not sure if this is real or fake)

You could provide some opinionated article, promote it through social media(important if you want real people to see it and discuss it) and possibly submit it to a news site.

Just my 2 cents

You are probably best outsourcing that as you'll need a quality article for starters and your expertise is in another field.

There are a few guys on BHW that offer that sort of service; @t0mmy is one of them and did an outstanding job for me for a site that I was working on.

I'm sure there are other guys as well that can help you out in the Marketplace too.
