How do i delete wordpress theme 2014 from displaying the feature image in my post but still display in my blog or maine page? i know i have to be in the backend of wordpress and edit the style sheet just don't really know where?
There are two ways, either you create an id or class for the image and then place the property display:none; in the css or you can go to content.php and delete or comment (less than) ? php the_post_thumbnail(); ? (greater than); (without any spaces)
If you have money, you can find someone on Fiverr to do this for you easily. It is a little hard to explain in steps with no access to your website, and no clue what theme you are using.
How annoying is that. So many themes do it and all you want is a 300 x 300 image for the teaser an then it blows it up to a 2000 x 2000 image and makes your whole website look like shit. If any these developers are reading this, DON'T DO IT!
You can usually put display:none; in the image class.
i successfully removed the feature image form posting in my post on the divi 2014 theme but i cant on the twenty fourteen theme, im the smartest kid on the block new to this stuff. i can generate really good traffic though so thats why i really want to build a website.
