I’m just starting out and confused about selecting a niche. Are there any beginner-friendly tips to choose a niche that works well with white hat SEO?

Choose a niche that you're interested in. Most niches come with up and down sides. Make sure your niche is ok in Google's eyes so that you don't get into trouble.

As per my experience, it’s not really about “how to choose a niche,” but about finding the right balance between the following 3 things.

• something you understand or can learn easily
• something people are already searching for
• and something that’s not too competitive

In simple terms, "a good niche is where your interest + search demand meet"

What worked for me was this simple approach :

• Pick a niche you don't mind writing about for a long term.
• Check if it has low competition long-tail keywords (use Google Autocomplete/ PAA).
• Look at the SERP - if small sites are ranking, it's a good sign.
• Make sure there's some monetization (ads, affiliate, services).

I think the easiest way to pick a niche is to start with something you actually enjoy or know a bit about, because it makes creating content way less stressful. In my experience, it also helps to check if people are searching for it but the competition isn’t too crazy. Try to focus on solving simple problems people have, and stick to helpful, honest content that’s what works best with white hat SEO. It might feel slow at first, but it builds trust over time.
