This can't be done in most modern cities. In London there is most certainly a camera that got all your activity on tape.

that's why you do it in 3rd world countries. If you're about to make huge money with huge risk, you take every precaution.

In 3rd world countries you get mugged instantly if you are seen with a notebook computer or even so much as a mobile phone.

As far as I know that a VPS and a virtual machine along with vpn can work fine. But if you still have any doubt about anonymity you can go by the method suggested by members.

Only real way to do that now a days is employing the Ron Swanson method...
Smash your laptop / desktop to bits and toss in the garbage, cease using the internet for the rest of your life.

Throw-away laptop w/end-to-end encryption from boot + Tails OS on a Live CD w/T.OR & no additional plugins/logins/etc that can identify you + Public WiFi. VPN is not needed, as a VPN provider will report your activity (to save their own skin) if requested by authorities. VPN = Privacy. VPN != Anonymity.
